I have downloade this app and it's really cool, but how do I get it to use my Opera web browser instead of IE? (I already have Opera set as my default browser and it still uses IE)

it would be a registry tweak go in the registry edito and do a search for the program than change the shortcut to using opera.

i downloaded this app and when I click on it does nothing. I changed ending to cab and file came up but still when it goes to install it says unsuccessful. also how in your videos are you able to place it were you want. I would like to place it before my device lock like yours. thnx

Not sure about the rest but to place it wherever you want go start/settings/personal/today/items and click the ultimate search and to the right of that hit either move up, or down

you have to extract the cab file no renaming is needed so thats why you get that error. and once installed you will get that since it is part of the program.

the only prob i have with this is it wont remember to not show the on screen key board it will remember mt zip but nothing else... running kaos's newist rom... anyone else having this prob???

it always shows the onscreen board thats built into the application.

bro i refgister with it fine and also can register with just 1 make sure you add no spaces and install to the main memory of the phone.

under setting it gives an option to not show screen keyboard...the prog just doesent reload with that setting...altho it remembers my zip code.... any else notice this???

I've tried to use UltimateSearch a few times, installing after hard resets and all, but I can't get it to even let me type to begin with. I click around on the plugin and I get nothing, unless I click on the left section (that has the list of search engines and options). I tried it before reg, after reg, and I couldn't find any topics that looked like mine on the site, so I must be the blonde one here. Any ideas? Thanks. I know it's going to be one of those 'Duh!' moments.

what keyboard are you using. i know that swcked full screen wont allow you to on some phones......

I busted out SIPChange, tried it w/ Happy Tapping, the pre-installed Pocket PC keyboard, and the Touch Keypad. None of them pulled up a keyboard. I can change what the search engine is to, so I assume the prog isn't frozen, and I doubt it's a conflict with UtimateLaunch.

nope not ultimate launch no clue bro there has to be another conflicting app.

So I was hard resetting so I thought I'd try to narrow down the problem, it worked until I added it to my UltimateLaunch, then it wouldn't. I loaded it and not ultimatelaunch and it worked, then again in it it didn't. I guess I'm not going to use this program, oh well.

huh odd on the mogul ut worked but on the touch it may not.... they have a lil different makeup in the internals that could be causing the troubles.
