This is the thread for nueROM 2.0, based on WM 6.1 OFFICIAL release.

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

I WILL NOT BE RELEASING A KITCHEN, but you can use baseKit 5047 to insert files into YOUR kitchen, packages I build into rom are located in packages. Windows live is provided in SYS_OPTIONAL if you use windows live. IMPORTANT! You must download the regular rom too and extract os.nb from the nbh to build or else you will be using the wrong XIP! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE USE OF BASEKIT IS UNSUPPORTED! COOK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

**Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).

Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

If you are new to flashing, please read this provided by quantumforce1. No, your phone is not a brick if its on the tricolor screen.

build 5049 is out. only new difference is a led killer as well as new battery Driver.so battery shows in increments of 1%. I've uped to rapid for those that dont wanna reflash..here are cab versions.

Hey Dash, I know that you told me to use this flash for my 6800 on the Alltel network, but I've tried 4 times...And everytime after flashing, it goes to the "Alltel splash" window and freezes there... I'm using Olipro 2.40, and I remember you telling me that you already did this for another person's phone that uses Alltel...Let me know what to do...

wow been discussed many times please search. you have lost the radio and need to upload the 3.27 radio on the phone which can be found by doing a quick search.

I had already tried that 4 times, as well, and received an "Error 206" everytime... I finally was able to flash the "3.35.04" radio (had to switch back to 1.20 bootloader from 2.40 to do that), and everything looks good, so far... I'm loving this DCD 3.0.0 ROM that I flashed last night.. More storage memory (169.02mb) and program memory (46.98mb) availability...
