This is the thread for nueROM 2.0, based on WM 6.1 OFFICIAL release.

I updated to the latest official release of WM6.1 from the leaked Kaiser roms. XIP has been ported too, seems like it had some new memory management features too. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter problems. As a quick test of speed, try going to file explorer and opening the windows directory.

This is a clean rom, so it doesn't have much on it. YOU MUST USE THE NEW BOOTLOADER (Olipro 2.40) for this rom to work.

I WILL NOT BE RELEASING A KITCHEN, but you can use baseKit 5047 to insert files into YOUR kitchen, packages I build into rom are located in packages. Windows live is provided in SYS_OPTIONAL if you use windows live. IMPORTANT! You must download the regular rom too and extract os.nb from the nbh to build or else you will be using the wrong XIP! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE USE OF BASEKIT IS UNSUPPORTED! COOK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

**Known issues:
GMAIL users are forced to use POP3 Email due to auto-detection (EDIT: Omegax posted a fix: type in gmail wrong and fix it later).
(5050) = EXTROM not working
(5050) = version appears as 5.2.0 (oops, i took out the dsm to make space).
(5050) = crashes imgfstools on nbmerge. You'll need to manually repair the partition table before using nbmerge.

Please post any requests in this thread and I will try to do my best to accomodate them, provided that it does not involve adding applications to the rom. IF you find out how to fix something, please post it so I can fix it in my next release.

If you are new to flashing, please read this provided by quantumforce1. No, your phone is not a brick if its on the tricolor screen.

can you tell me how i can keep all my current settings and programs and jus like update the rom i dont want to update it and then restore to swcked backup cause then it gives me the old rom so help here

you cant back up your contacts with activesync or mobile device center or as i do mail2web and than restore them. but for apps and all it causes problems restoring backups with new roms so you would have to reinstall the apps all over again. trust me i have done this soooo many times you will get used to it and fly through the process.

i did this update and now my screen ust freezes on the windows thing were windows is on the lowe part of the screen on the grass
its been on this for like 10 min i soft reset it still same thing

i got it fixed,
any one whos mogul freezes on the 2nd splash screen
try hard reset
(2 softkeys and hold reset) shud work if not then
take the battery out and put it back in after 30-45secs
and it shud load fine

i wouldnt rccomend this update because many people have been experiencing sluggish performace even though there memory says 17-18 mn free
so i think this rom needs to be fixed
stick with 5049 for now until this gets fixed up
