Cool Edit Pro 2.0 i930 Ringtone Making Tutorial by MaTtY PiMpZ

this is my tut that i made so dont try 2 steal it


ok first open up cool edit and go to file - open waveform

then click the box under the file name and make sure its set to mp3PRO



then after that select a song

cut out parts of the song by highlighting and deleting and when your done with that it should be around 20 - 30 (thats what mine are yours can be bigger tho)




after that click effects - amplitude - amplify




You want to use this if the song is too loud. Use it to increase and decrease the volume of your song. (doesnt have 2 be perfect)



then hit ok and then go into file - save as and in there hit options



in options u want to click the box under the cbr constantbitrate and mp3 (make sure those 2 are selected) and select the option 80 kbps, 24000hz, and stereo. Where it says presets click add and make a preset called I930 for future reference.



then hit ok and save ur ringtone to wherever u can find it and then just put it on the phone

ok i used this tut. to make ringers but they dont scream and are not loud enough can anyone tell me how to make them louder cause if i amplify them too much then they sound like shit and when they sound good on the fone there not loud.. Can someone help me with this thx.. Rep points will deff. be given if u can help me out with this and make my ringers scream... thx.

So basically i cant get my ringers as loud as my 860 and keep them clear like the 860.. if u can do this and wouldnt mind talknig to me one on one about this im me @ etniesman12.. thx

nah alot louder. and this kinda sounds bad when the base hits in the backround. but i would like it louder. if its possible without losing quality..

i made some in the mp3 thread for i930 check em out and see if u like them its a diffrent format than matty

All I do is open the Full mp3 that I want, HighLite the portion of the song I want, then Copy that portion then pase to a New... Once pasted, You can raise the volume if the song is only Originally low, if it is all good before starting leave it and just Save as.. No need to set settings or anything...
