Changes made from version 4.20.30w to 4.20.50w:

* Provide a maximum height for the gray toolbar buttons at the bottom of the main menu for smartphone devices with tall screens.
* Update copyright year to 2008.
* Update application default for South Africa to use English (preferred).
* Update Dutch translations.
* Correct an SDK error that could cause the application to terminate when QueSelectAddressFromFind is used.

Changes made from version 4.20.20w to 4.20.40w:

* Provide additional error checking to detect corrupted NMEA input from third party GPS receivers.
* Provide increased voice prompt volume for smartphone devices.
* Provide additional coordinate location formats when selecting Where To -> Coordinates.
* Modify map drawing settings to improve the map drawing speed.
* Correct text translations (Dutch).

Installation procedure:

a) Start installation of 'GarminMobileXTforWindowsMobile_42020w.exe' from PC through ActiveSync. Select your Storage Card as destination. During the installation, files will be copied to your storage card. The files should appear in '\Storage Card\Garmin\Apps\WM'.
b) Install 'GarminMobileXTSupportFiles_4xxxx.exe' for voice files. In storage card
c) Install 'GarminMobileXTFreeBasemap_4xxxx.exe' for Garmin's base map. In storage card
d) Run GarminMobileXT and click "Connect to a Garmin GPS" go to 'setting\about' record the Unit ID and use keygen to create unlock key.
e) Save as sw.unl file.
f) Copy 'sw.unl' to '\Storage Card\Garmin'.

Ok im having the same problem its scanning over and over ive tried com 5 and 6 and tried runnig google in the back round and it finds gps connection fine but garmin doesn't... baud rate is 4800 (gps hardware port is set to none. and this is the first version i've downloaded

Hey guys quick question.. I've only had my TOUCH PRO for 2 weeks. I was just clicking on Icons when i first got it and saw SPRINT Navigation. I thought awesome! GPS!! The 2nd time i went to use it, The message said this will expire in 4 days if I dont upgrade my plan and pay an extra $9.99 a month. So I just clicked exit. a Week later I went to try it and it's still working. I never did upgrade my plan or agree to pay extra fees for GPS. Does anyone know if maybe GPS is included in the Sprint Power Plan?? which is basically $30 for unlimited data and txt. Not sure what else is included in the Power Plan.

If it is included, then should i stick with the navigation that came with my Touch Pro?
Or is there any reason to switch to Garmin or TomTom?

Super, I assume telenav is what comes on the HTC Touch PRo?
It has voice navigation, you can look up gas prices and it will guide you there and of course you can look up stores and stuff in the area...
But im def not paying an extra $10 a month for it when i have gps in my car. But the option to change modes for when your walking around i thought was cool..
So i can find my way around downtown if im walkin around.

Thanks for the link for North America maps. I might just give garmin a shot. I'll have to reread the thead and see how to install maps.
