WIMP - Where Is My Phone v. 1.3.0.0
Requirements: Windows Mobile 5 or 6 Phone, Internal GPS (it will work with an external GPS device, but obviously only when connected)
Overview: In the event of your phone being lost or stolen, you can simply send a specially formatted SMS text message to the phone and the W.I.M.P software will silently intercept it. W.I.M.P. will then send back a message containing the phone's GPS location in a format which can be entered into any common mapping application.

OK - so someone steals your phone. What is the first thing they're going to do? Change the SIM card right? The W.I.M.P. application will automatically detect a change in the SIM card and send you a text message containing the new number. You can then use that number to track the device's location or even ring the phone!

W.I.M.P. will always run covertly in the background, it will even automatically start when you reset the phone ensuring it is always protected.

* Runs silently and covertly in the background. It doesn't even show in the list of running programs.
* Will send your phone's GPS coordinates via text message, allowing you to accurately track your phone's location using any common mapping application (e.g. http://maps.google.com)
* If the SIM card is replaced on the phone, it will automatically send a text message informing you of the new number

default number is 0000 and you dont put ur imei you put your device id like it says on like page 4 you logg in with 0000 for trial vesion than you look for your device id or whatever its called and you enter that into the keygen

ok..... my imsi # is ***************, which I will assume is my device id. When I imput that into the keygen, It comes up with the # 588736. I put that into the place where it says :options/enter licence code. after I enter the 588736 code in there, it says "invalid Serial number" I reinstalled the program about 4 times and It still doesnt register. Can anyone help me out? I really need this program

hey man, send me a pm with your deviceid, not the imsi. it is how i used the keygen for mine. mine now says license valid. dash changed your post before i could see it.

make sure you get the deviceid from inside the wimp program itself.

this is really neat & all, but does the hyperlink to google maps work for anyone? i've tried everything i can think of & the hyperlink will take me to google maps website but it never displays a map or location. best i can get is loading... at the very bottom but its not actually doing anything. havent found a way to copy & paste to google maps app either..

anyone got any ideas?

it works for me, i had to send it to my email and copy it into a desktop pc and the page loaded fine. i have a screenshot of it a couple pages back that shows this.

unfortunately that is pointless to me.. i just got opera browser last nite, i'm hoping its a miracle app in this regard lol.. doubt it tho heh


that makes it hard to pinpoint if someone actually stole your phone.. so you get a txt msg with location as you're tryin to track down the fag that took your ****, but wait you have to run home to check his location hoping he is a fat **** & never moves an inch. i'm sure you all see my beef. too bad this companys website is worthless & offers no suggestions/ideas.

hmm, sometimes people may abuse things and go a little too far. oh well, i would do the same thing but mine doesnt have a WM phone.
