That is an excellent idea. I hope you get a response to this.
It would be cool to have a front face that has buttons that would be customizable so you could click on it and automatically change the settings on your phone as you said one for night, one for day, one for mapping that puts all the mapping stuff together for easy access and captures maps into One note. One for calendars and scheduling. If I were a programmer I would write it.
