VIDEO: Samsung Behold II demo (Tmo)

The folks at Samsung and T-mobile are sure proud of the AMOLED display and Cube interface of the Behold II. But the question is, are you impressed? Check out the hands-on demo here for yourself.

honestly... i dont like this...

Android is becoming the new "dumbphone" quick.... By this I mean, that soon its gonna be on most feature phones and will be pushed as a common OS rather than a High-End Smartphone OS unlike WM7 and WebOS

yeah but with the different models are different firmware versions... the way they ar heading they are going to have the beginner android level phones and than they are going to have the advanced user ones..... you just choose the format that best fits the user.

I like the looks of the device itself - specifically the map on the back... but that's unimportant, really.

That cube looks just silly. It might be fun for showing off, but as far as functionality goes, it looks disastrous.

I find it interesting that both WinMo and Android are getting covered up with user interfaces either developed by carriers, 3rd party software developers or hardware developers. I use Swcked Mobile Shell 3.5, myself, and love it. Being able to customize the phone so that its interface is exactly - and I do mean EXACTLY what I want is brilliant.

I wonder how long it will be before Apple discovers the 3rd mouse button, again, and allows this level of customization.
