problem flashing with sd card
 

i am trying to flash to the manila 2d rom for my mogul. i am using my sd card. heres what i did i copied the nbh file and renamed it ...( i pretty much everything i was supposed). pressed the camer+power+reset and its on this gray screen with "loading..." its been like this forever. i hard reset it and it went back to the take 3 i had before. so right now i am reflashing and its still on the gray screen. does neone have any ideas or what am i doing wrong.

what did you rename the file to?

im not sure if you flash the moguel the same way as the wing but are you hard spl? if not you need to do that first before you could flash. also the sd card need to be roformat to fat32, card needs to be micro i belive it has to be less than 2g once you hold camera button then softrest (still holding camera button) it should ask you reformating blah, blah... then you have 10sec to say yes you do it by pressing volume down then it should start flashing. redownload the Rom maybe it was a bad download. need a little more info so we could help you but i hope some of this info helped.

you have to rename the nbh for the mogul to TITAIMG and than drag to the fat32 2gb or less formatted card.... so try reformatting and renaming on your computer than dragging it over.

i did all that. i reformatted to fat32 and i rename it to TITAIMG.nbh and the sd card is 512mb. its still on the gray loading screen with "loading..." for 30mins now.

try to reformat again..... they can take a couple of formats to be successful... nd make sure that it is the only thing on the card and nothing else on heir period.

ok yes i reformatted the sd card like 5times now. i even tried flashing with the take 5 kaos. i put the nbh of the rom in the sd card and pressed the manual bootloader;..u no like you are sopposed to. but its still stuck on the gray screen with "loading" is something wrong with my phone.

yep, i said i renamed it to the TITAIMG.nbh in the earlier post. now when when its on the red green screen with serial at the bottom it just stays there. this happened when reformatted again and tried to flash again. at least its something different.

right but you didnt add the .mnbh to the end did you? you dont have to add that sicne it is its actual file extension already

so i am not supposed to rename it as TITAIMG.nbh cuz thats what everyone was doing. i should just name it to TITAIMG? now when i try to flash with the card it will show loading on the gray screen then go right back to the red green and blue screen with serial at the bottom. i have the olipro 2.4 unlocker already with the phone. i don't no what i am doing wrong.

yes, just rename to TITAIMG, the nbh part will take care of itself...... if its taking you back to the color screen, then it may be the rom you are on, or just a small flaw with the software...my wife had the same problem on her pro, i tried like 3 times to flash it via sdcard and it wouldnt, it just kept sending me back to the color screen. what you wanna do is flash back to stock via usb cable, and dont relock your phone, then flash to a custom rom via usb cable again, then you will be able to flash via sdcard. sounds weird, but sometimes roms might have corrupted files and this needs to be done.

thanks for that i will just get a new phone. i was going to neways. i just wanted to flash to a new rom to hold. thanks for you guys help. appreciate the input
