Wisbar Advance 4 beta - technical preview

Overview: The new build is now available and there are just a couple of things to be aware of. This is more of a technical preview since it'll become quite obvious that it's not finished.

- The start menu options pane has been removed. This is because the new start menu is still under development. The options will be added as necessary.

- The task panel options have been removed since there is no longer a task panel. There is a new method for switching apps.

- The theme manager is not functional at this point. This is because it's currently being rewritten from the ground up.

- The "Touch Friendly" option for the full taskbar doesn't work as the author is still in the process of finishing up the notification manager for it. This is the same notification manager you see in Lite mode. There are no icons for it, yet.

Fixed the startup freeze on most devices
The program now takes control of the start and close buttons on WM 6.5.1 builds. This means that the start button will bring up WA4's start menu and the close button now closes (minimizes if you tap and hold). The skinning of that bar is still left up to the selected Today theme. Also, the start and close buttons will not use WA4's functionality in Lite Mode. You must be in Full Mode in order to use these new functions.
Rewrote the WisSystem process to be much more finger friendly. It also provides a little bit more information
Decreased the sensitivity of the start menu. Now it won't slide all over the place when you simply want to start a program
Fully tested on WM5, WM6.1, WM6.5 and WM6.5.1 devices
On WM6.5.1 devices, the start and close buttons are hidden from the status bar at the top of the screen, though they can still be turned on through the settings program
Increased the stability of the program when using the new task switcher
TESTED ON TP2 FROZE CAN BE MY ROM SINCE ITS NOW SUPPORT FOR WM6.5

mmmmm this looks interesting..... looks like some very nice changes have been made and i see webos style cards in the screenshot hahaha

i talk to the developer on lakeridge site...this one has lots of stuff....you can now do 100 images for battery like no2chems basically. so battery is in 1% increments....some other new new goodies..

yuppers thats what the developer of wisbar told me... hes a cool down to earth guy and he always is willing to hear out on changes to be made to wisbar which is cool..... very nice guy ill tell you what.
