Screen is frozen while send/get a phone call
 

Hi
i have htc touch pro and the touch screen works paerfectly.
the problem is when i send or get a call there some bottuns on the screen like: end call, contacts, mute, notes .... i press them and they dont respons, i also have the slide to answer and i try to slide right or left and it dose not slide - it seems like the screen is frozen when i send/get a call, in all other apps like s2u2 and others all working fine .....
i did hard reset and rom upgrade .... didnt help.

its not black screen during call ,,, its frozen screen during call.

please help

umm im not really sure whats going on..but i think u have your touchscreen disabled during calls...which means u have to use ur hardware keys...this can easily be solved by activating it in ur settings...

I know about that , but if i need to go in to my contact during phone call, i cant. i cant mute the calles and do other stuf.

do you have any idea how i can fix it?

are u sure u tried a hard reset..cuz a hard reset would most likely fix this...and what rom r u using?...

yes im sure i did hard reset you know hold the phone uo side down and press the lower volume butten and after that the upper vol button .....

i had rom 1.90.401.1 wwe and now i downloaded from htc web site the lateiest rom updat and i have 5.05.401.1 wwe.

thats weird, but i know sometimes s2u2 can mess the call screen up a lil. try flashing a CUSTOM rom, not just the update for stock.

yeah i would def say go with a custom rom for your device.... you will be much happier with it :)

You know i had the same issue with my touch.. I went ahead an unistall s2u2 had no more problems,,

Sometimes S2U2 will conflict with other programs....espcially if you have a contact manager that will also try to be your caller ID etc....both fighting over the same job.....I had the same problem when I forgot to not have Resco Contacts not handle incoming calls......

hi again ...
since the last hard reset i dont have s2u2 on my device.
yesterday i play a bit with some defenition of the sensor lock and with the advance configuration tool (dont remember exac what i did) the S2A was not working but during a phone call i could press the buttons on the screen and it works, so this is why i think it related to some definition in some apps.

dose anyone has a rom that he can recomend for me?

ATR Rom is good. I also like Copper Rom.

these are all cdma roms, if u downloaded a cdma rom on a gsm phone that could cause alot of problems,...there is a link in thread for roms but most of them on here are cdma, xda has alot of gsm roms....

What rom did you flash ? and if you flashed a CDMA rom on a GSM phone i surpized it still works at all.
