after hard reset
 

okay, so about 3 days ago i decided to do a hard reset on my phone because i wanted to install garmin. i had about 20 diferent programs on my phone, so i thought i'd do a hard reset, start fresh, add garmin FIRST, and then add whatever other application afterwards. now i wasnt able to install garmin the right way, so i gave up on that idea, but after i installed all my other applications my phone isnt running the same as it was before. first thing i noticed was that it wont connect to my e-mail account, it freezes up when i try to use the live noim cab that is used to run live e-mail on my phone. second, if i pull my sd card out, once i stick it back in, it wont read my pics, the ones on the phone or on the sd card, it just shows their name but not the actual pic. you have to click on the name to view the pic. third, it freezes up in the home screen, and nothing will work. the time wont change, and the sreen stays stuck. any i deas as to why this is happening? also, can i re-flash the same rom again/ i didnt lock my phone after the flash. im running kaos take 5, which before this was runnig flawlessly, so its not the rom, but i must have mess something up in the process. thanks yet once again.

It sound like it was maybe garmin or one of the app's you put on your phone. Just hard reset again and try reflashing

oh believe me bro, i hard reset this motha****** like 5 times after that, ha ha ha. but it's still doing it! i dont understand why since all those programs where on my phone before with no problem. however, i've notice that it might be one of the programs, i just havent pin pointed which one yet. the reason i say that is because at first, before i start putting programs in to the phone, everything works fine. i believe it's that "live noim cab." because when i install that and i try to sing in to my live account, it just freezes up. the wait icon just stops spinning, and after that my nightmare starts. but i need to do that in order to set up my e-mail account on my phone since sprint quit their e-mail service.

You could try getting a different livenoim.cab. You can get it from here. Just enter your number and it should send you a text with a link to download the cab

I would flash to Stock ROM... make sure everything is working properly, then unlock and flash to a CUSTOM ROM..... That should fix it. Files that are or maybe corrupted can be fixed by flashing the Stock ROM for your device. Once fixed, flashing to Custom ROM should work out fine.

this is what i would do....go exchange yur mogul for a damn pro....problem solved....haha no like jew said above, reflash to stock and the reflash to custom should solve it...and just to be on the safe side tell us what programs you are runnin....

sounds like you have some files on your card still from garmin... i would check the storage cards windwos folder, program files folder, and any garmin or nav folder.

no i completely deleted everything from my card using my laptop. then i load it back up with only the cabs i wanted.

damn.... .than i would try stock like jew said and see what that does for you..... if it is still doing it you are having hardware issues so i hope that you have insurance.

yep, went back to stock and everything works great. the staff was right! but since im getting the pro im going to keep the mogul stock until then.

yea at this point you might as well :> im glad that going stock fixed her up for you :> just remember your last moments with your mogul since yoiu wont be looking back when that pro comes in the mail.
