Best Touch Pro rom
 

I've looked at some of the roms on here and haven't really want the right one. I guess what I'm looking for is just a simple, clean version of Sprints original rom, something that doesn't use so much memory. I've been looking at Kaos Touch Pro Hybrid Cdma Sprint, and think that would be a good one. Do I have to unlock my touch first for this one?

What roms do you guys recommend? I use most of my programs on my touch, except for the clearvue presentation, Titan (still don't know what that program is for), and I guess that's it. I mean, I might use the streaming media someday, or the jetcet print 5...someday.

Bro they only way to know this is to try them.....What you are asking for, most of them do and have what you want. to answer your first question, yes you need to have it unlocked. Your second questions is answered by you... its a personal preference...

Kaos' ROM's and Juicys' ROM's are always usually a solid choice. You might try the Dream 1.1 ROM too..

Dash do all of these new roms have the FM radio unlocked? I would assume as far as hacks they are pretty close to the same...I want the cool interface they have now, like the battery the EV icons etc. And rid of all that crap wear and what not.

yes for the most part all do..... and i would recommend the juggalo rom which has your fancy taskbar all built in :> (i run juggalo currently and love it.)

I agree with Dash. I've had some problems with other roms. Not serious problems, but little errors. Like when I would slide my phone out my contacts would pop up out of nowhere. But with Juggalo's ROM, I've had absolutely NO problems. Definitely go with that.

Hey quick question... is there a rom out there that takes out all the sprint features? not just some but all?

Most custom roms do, yhou just gotta read that roms threads, they will tell u what they have and what been taken out etc.... but one of the main reason ppl build custom rom is to get rid of the carrier crap and make it more suitable for them, which is why in most cases, when u flash custom, youll have get seperate cabs for whatever feature you may have liked.. in my case, i like sprint tv and sprint nav/tele nav... so I keep the cabbed form of those, cuz i like to install them after i flash, and most custom roms wont incld it...

yeah the sprint features are included in the sprint version of the juggalo rom.

Aight thanx you guys.. ya i was just wondering cuz im not gunna be using my phone and any of the "major" carriers its gunna be on metro pcs so i was tryin to find a rom that is really.. really bare without all the carrier specific stuff in there.

you could go with the kaos rom since he doesnt have any of that in his..... also the dade county rom by jew doesnt.... many will have metro pcs as an option for download so i would check out the juggalo or possibly the hibby rom and see if they have a version for you.
