Original Thread: I have dumped my sprint OS rom for people with the touch Pro and the verizon leaked rom is out already. This thread is to list which stock roms are available and where to get them. I hope to keep it up to date, but feel free to link others if you find them.

Dumped versions (OS only, generally nbh format to use with RUU):
You must be unlocked with a hardSPL to use dumped roms as they are not signed. To get unlocker go here

I'm having a problem downgrading my touch pro back to normal... i keep getting a error message while trying to downgrade: its saying that the rom update utility has encountered communication errors during the update process. Could you let me know if its something i could do to fix this problem...

sometimes activesync wont read your phone....i usually just plug and unplug a few times to get it to associate with the ruu....try that and let us know.

well id keep tryin because i have had the same issue before and the only way i got it to work was to keep tryin till it connected.....nothin else u can do unless u have a card reader and put the nbh file in ur card and then manual bootload to flash from card....

Your computer has to install a diff set of drivers for your phone to be recognized while its in tricolor mode. If you let it sit for awhile as its in the bootloader screen, your comp should automatically recognize the device and install the drivers necesarry. Also, taking off advanced network functionality, that helps too.

Hey again everybody, i came home today and attempted again to downgrade back to the original format of the touch pro from the murder187 rom. and again i failed! Could some one please try to help me.... Thanks...
P.S. "TaylorWckediden" mentioned trying to flash from the sd card, could someone try to explain that one to me or point me in the direction of a thread that could help me...

did u try the manual bootload to flash? did u run into problems? what did the screen say??? please give us some more info because u are out of options my friend

man... all you have to do is is dowload you carriers STOCK DUMP ROM.... then replace the .nbh file from the DUMP ROM with the MURDER ROM one. Flash the DUMP ROM and done!

no you will have to relock the device.... the relocker is also included in the same thread as the hardspl for the touch pro.

Hey yall,

My phone fell and the screen broke. I need to flash back to stock rom to send back. What do you guys think would be the easiest way to do so, with not being able to see anything on my phone. I was thinking just flashing stock shipped rom, and immediately relocking, but seeing as I have never relocked before, do I need to let it boot up before relocking, or can I just do it as soon as it turns back on.

yeah, if your phone still turns on and is already unlocked, i would suggest you flash to stock via sdcard. just rename the nbh file to "RAPHIMG.nbh" and reformat your card to fat32. this will be safer because as long as your phone turns on you really dont need to see the screen to do this. just insert the reformated sdcard with the RAPHIMG.nbh file in it, and hold the volume and power buttons down, then while still holdind those down press the reset button on the bottom of the phone for about 3 seconds, and then release all the buttons and press the power button one time, wait about 10 minutes just to be sure since you cant see anything, and press the reset buttom again. pull bat, wait 1 minute hard reset, and you are done! lol, dont worry about relocking either. whew! lol.

Thanks for all of your help everyone. I think it worked, I relocked, waited for it to connect with active sync again, then flashed stock rom. It turned on again, so hopefully it worked. I guess I'll see if I get a huge bill after returning it, LOL.

Whats the difference between dumped and shipped versions and also will it work foR the Rapheal model even tho it says Herman vesion

It explains what they mean above bro -

Dumped versions (OS only, generally nbh format to use with RUU):
Signed versions is a different format as noted above

And if it says herman it clearly means it dont work for Rapheal .

Basically, a dumped rom just flashes the OS . The shipped rom has the OS and the radio.

And also, keep in mind that, if your with a CDMA carrier, chances are that it lwill be labeled for Herman instead of raphael, as technically speaking the raphael is actually the GSM version and the Herman is technically label as the CDMA touch pro...althought it is held as common knowledge that the raphael is the touch pro in general...

I need help guys... I cant get the mighty Rom off my phone and I gotta send it back, I've tried to load the sprint rom off my sd card, and the hold power, hold the volume button down, and push reset is not working is there anyway I can take this mighty rom off????

first this is the wrong place to ask this question entirely.....second what did u rename the nbh file on your sd card?? assuming you have to pro it needs to be named RAPHIMG.nbh.....third flash via pc if you cant figure it out.....dont post in this thread again or you will receive an infraction, post in the appropriate areas please.

Hey Guys,
I have been everywhere trying to find an answer to my question in the title.
I ordered my touch pro off e-bay flashed to work for cricket and Im curious to find out what Rom I'm running, Im assuming it has to be a custom ROM but I have no idea. To add to that question if I am running a less than optimal ROM would trying to upgrade screw up my flash? If so I really have no problems with my phone right now, everything works great. I just have a complex with wanting the best of the best and when I read about you guys running KAOS and Mighty Rom it makes me want more, Lol!!! I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

not gonna gripe since jew got you taken care of and to tell the version of your rom go to start/settings/system/system info and you will find what you are looking for there..... than just plug them numbers into google and you will find where the source is.....

dont even flash stock, not worth it. they will prolly just take ur batt and put it in the battery tester.
