Press releases, joint ventures, major feature updates... Stay up to date with the latest WMWifiRouter news. Want to know what WMWifiRouter has done or our future plans? Read all you need to know here. WMWifiRouter 1.25 released
(today) Morose Media releases version 1.25 of its award-winning WMWifiRouter software. Available for download immediately! This new version of WMWifiRouter contains several bug-fixes and enhancements, though it does not contain any completely new features. One important fix is the temperature read-out for CDMA-based HTC Diamond and HTC Touch Pro devices. These two devices report temperature in different units than most other Windows Mobile devices, which could cause WMWifiRouter to shutdown automatically to prevent your battery from overheating. Our Japanese customers will be happy to note this version is now also compatible with the EM-ONE, EM-ONE Alpha and Advanced WZERO 3 devices (please see our knowledgebase article about the EM-ONE). We expect some more older devices that were not compatible with 1.20 to be compatible with 1.25 as well, due to the changes made for the devices listed above. Other changes include several minor bugfixes, more multithreading, optimized statistics gathering, and power management adjustments. The latter two resulting in less power consumption and CPU use, especially when running with the screen turned off. This is a completely free update for all registered users! There are several ways to get the latest version. You can simply download the latest trial version, and if you are a registered user, input your license code when the program asks for it. Alternatively, you can login to My WMWifiRouter and download version 1.25. AppToDate users can simply run AppToDate on their devices to automatically download and install the latest version. Alright everyone who was dying to get ahold of this and getting it working for them!!! I have a new fix for you so that everyone can get their hands on this and really enjoy the security that it also provides!! Get a registry editor and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MOROSE MEDIA\WMWifiRouter\License and delete the StartDate file. (I actually uninstalled the program first, then did this) and it worked like a charm. Probably will have to do this every 30 days but it's simple enough. Check out the site: WMWifiRouter.com |

If you have the cracked previous release, I believe you can auto update from the program and it will keep it registered. If that doesn't work (which I believe that it does) it would be much appreciated if you would take a 'crack' at it. --------- New Post Merged on 4/11/2008 at 09:18:13 -------- NEVERMIND HERE YOU GO!!!!! Not sure what I might have done wrong in this process. I am pretty sure all past wmwifirouter s/w was removed, then I rebooted to make sure memory was clear as well. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance... RC |

Re: WMWifiRouter 1250600
it really depends on what reason you're using the program. there are a humongous amount of different settings for an enormous array of uses. I love this update and think it greatly overshadows all of the previous versions. But without knowing what you plan on using it for I would say that those two options don't really hold much of a difference. What's happening is that the program searched your device for all available connections to the web and it's just asking which you prefer to use.
|
Re: WMWifiRouter 1250600
well I chose "sprint" because I thought that if I chose "phone as modem" sprint would want to charge me for PAM plan.

Re: WMWifiRouter 1250600
I've used this v1.25...huh! It worked with the provided key, which from my records, was the same key provided for v1.20. Intial use, I was a GO! Tried it again, several hours later..."Trial key Expired". I'm going to roll with my (Uninstallable) v.91! I appreciate the opportunity though. I am glad to see some are having success. No two units are the same. That's why they're "SmartPhones" lol!

Re: WMWifiRouter 1250600
Wow kick ass, It works! The Key Im talking about.
The app has a great lay out, and a ton of options. But I went to run a speed test and I only got 148.3KB/sec The speed test page took forever to load. I picked sprint and not phone as modem. So maybe trying the other might help. It kinda seems PDAnet is faster. But I never tried a speed test using PDAnet. Someone said they got 700KB/sec? What settings did you use? I'm wondering what some of you guys are getting as speed results and what settings are you using. I went to http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ My result was as follows: Download Speed: 1186 kbps (148.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 186 kbps (23.3 KB/sec transfer rate) |

See this one's weird. Works for some and for others it just doesn't. The only way I have seen it work for someone that it wasn't working for before is after a hard reset or on another device or after flashing. It has a weird ability to maintain memory of prior attempts/versions (regged/not regged) on your device. Which old version didn't work by the way??? For everyone who wasn't lucky enough to get this going for them, they all seem to be in agreement that version .91 is the way to go. (freeware, no keygen necessary) |
Re: WMWifiRouter 1250600
.91 the one that requires no keygen will not work at all on the palm pro the newer version does but key gen does not work
|
Re: WMWifiRouter 1250600
works perfectly for me. thanks!!!
