CDMA Raphael Elite Team (see: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=41345) presents exclusive Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL to you!

SSPL, HSPL, relocker made by cmonex, Wrappers by olinex, SD flasher and relocker (coming soon) by no2chem. thanks to NexVision (btw I'm really sorry), zule/Shadowmite and no2chem for testing!!!

there are again two HSPL's (similar scene to Diamond_C).

1. 0.25.MFG for the hackers, because otherwise, it is too old, apparently has splashscreen issues and only 128MB ram. but it has mw, it has rtask, etc. etc. ;)

2. 0.37 for other people, this has no screen issues but no MFG commands.

(the SSPL is based on the MFG but do not use it as such, only use it to get Hard-SPL on the device!)


Instructions:

first, if you have GSM Touch Pro/Raphael (NOT CDMA, NOT SPRINT/VERIZON/ALLTEL/TELUS), this will brick your device.
to download a compatible hardspl package for gsm touch pro you can go to forum.xda-developers.com.
but if you have CDMA Touch Pro/Raphael (SPRINT etc - see note below!!), then you have to use this hardspl, not the one at xda-developers!!!

NOTE: tested on Sprint touch pro so far, we would like to test Verizon etc touch pro's when they come out.

ok, now the instructions themselves.

0a) make sure you have .NET framework installed on your PC! if not, get it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
0b) if you have vista, WMDC update is recommended: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...ce-center.mspx
1) download Hard-SPL package from attachment, extract to an empty folder.
2) it is recommended you download only the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip unless you want to tinker with MFG SPL.
3) you must Have Phone Synced with PC in Windows Mobile!
4) run Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe (or maybe 025, if you want to experiment with MFG SPL),
5) follow steps in the RUU, and check on the device for prompts after PC shows loading bar.
6) it should go to tricolour screen now and say 0.25.C-SSPL.
7) SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done.
8 ) to confirm you got it installed, go into bootloader mode (tricolour screen!) and verify the screen shows 0.37.CMONEX (or 0.25.CMONEX MFG).

NOTE: you will not see the SPL version during normal boot, that is the OS version, not SPL!
to enter bootloader mode to see version: with the device turned on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power button, then press the reset button with the stylus tip, then release the volume down and power buttons when bootloader tricolour screen appears.

NOTE 2: anyone having problems with the device entering SSPL automatically, please copy SSPLManual.exe from the SSPLManual.zip attachment to the device and run it. then once the screen is in SSPL, run RUU manually. i.e. you run the RUU on the PC, if it isn't obvious.

NOTE 3: this is unsigned Hard-SPL. no limitations on flashing ROMs or radio packages. also, this has overwrite protection, if someone needs to revert to stock SPL for warranty reasons, a stock SPL downgrade package is also available here.

NOTE 4: do not use this RUU to flash anything else! this is only intended for flashing the Hard-SPL.

NOTE 5: use Relocker *only* if you need to return the phone for warranty. only use it as last step - after reflashing stock OS and radio.

Alright, I think that I've followed all the steps correctly and have read and re-read and re-read and re-read everything 100 times but I can't figure out what is going wrong.

I have .NET framework on my PC.
I downloaded Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip.
I have the phone connected via active-sync.

When I click on Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe I get an AthenaWrapper error.

Any ideas?

I downloaded the SSPLManual_Raphael.zip and copied SSPL-Manual.exe over to the SD card.

I run SSPL-Manual.exe from the SD card and it takes me to the rainbow screen with "Security Unlocked" at the top and its connected via USB (verified by USB at the bottom of the screen.)

Can I ROMUpdateUtility.exe for the new ROM now? Or is it not fully unlocked yet?

It sounds like you are unlocked. What does the rest of the screen say, just so I can make sure.

Yea i see that now, I saw the 0.25 and thought 0.35(verizon) for some reason. I would recommend using the .37 for your phone. It is more stable then the .25.

Also, to my understanding, umlockin by sd card is not supported yet. That is what it states in the original post at ppcgeeks.

As noted in my first post, .37 is what I was attempting to use when I got the AthenaWrapper error.

It was the SSPL-Manual.exe on the SD card that got me to the rainbow screen. Hmmm, did you try running the unlocker after your phone was in the tricolor mode? I ran the .37 so your text is different from mine. But it does say security unlocked, which it should. Try running it while in bootloader and see what happens

Ok, i just re-read the first post, and it seems your not god yet. If you ran the .25, it should say 0.25 CMONEX. If it still says sspl, your still locked. So try again while the phone is in bootloader.

OK, so I went into bootloader. It says:

When you said try again, I assumed you meant to try the unlocker (Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe) again. I did, I got the same AthenaWrapper error.

its your computer than bro i have ran this file manry times and never got the trouble error. i would check to make sure that your firewall or virus scan isnt blocking you from being able to connect.

hi im trying to relock my touch pro but it wont do it. i have the relocker and and the sprint stock rom. i think im doing something wrong cause my phone wont relock. mogul was so much easier to relock. i feel such a noob with the pro. thanks in advance.

It's saying unlocked AFTER you run the relocking process? Does the relocked process run thrugh all the steps, and give 'you a sucessfully relocked-clcik finish to complete window?'

i followed all the steps. once i clicked finish it restarted my phone. then when i check if its lock still says unlock.

ok i finally flashed my phone back to stock rom. i guess its already lock even though it says unlocked.

you will want to relock your pohne so it says locked if you are on stock...... or you can keep it unlocked like it is now and flash a custom rom following the tutorial below in my signature.

I need a little help from the experts please:) I just got my Pro today from Alltel and am attempting to unlock it to flash to a new rom. I run the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and all seems well till it gets to the % screen. It then sits there on 0% for a bit then zips to 100% giving an error "324: Invalid command".. I know I've done everything correct from the given directions. So what could else could I be doing wrong??? My boot loader screen shows:

no you are not unlocked....... and have you tried to reboot your computer and try again? also what os are you on and what version of activesync or device center are you using? have you tried to redownload and try again?

Ok, I got it to load the SPL-0.37 to load successfully. Now, I tried to load Conflippers TP rom and I was getting errors and now the damn thing is stuck at the Touch Pro boot screen.

I am using Vista x86 and am up to date with everything as said in this thread.

Now, in my bootloader screen it says at the bottom Upgrade Rom code error Please try again.... Never seen this before:(

why not try to flash form the card.... your pc has some troubles you might want to check on if you keep getting errors..... i have ran this on both xp 32 and 64 bit as well as vista 32 and 64 bit.......also have you checked your firewall and your virus scan to make sure they arent blocking you from being able to flash?

i suggest you flash through sd card as i was having the same problems with my laptop and kept trying and trying with no success...besides flashing through sd card is the easiest way to go :)

I figured it out lol.. For some reason my phone wont flash if I have any other active usb devices going. I have a usb modem for my net and when its connected and running my phone gives errors while flashing (tried on 2 fresh installs of windows). So, I unplugged all my usb devices and rebooted then I was able to unlock and flash a new rom.

The reason you're most likely getting the AthenaWrapper error is, because you are trying to run the program within the zip file you downloaded. Either UnZip or copy and paste from inside the zip and release it out. Mainly get the files outside of the zip and then run... you should be good to go then. Good Luck

It took me a long time to do this. Finally figured out I actually had to uninstall my antivirus completely. Kept getting 262 errors. After that it worked (well after it reset my computer during flash) I left the TP at the flash screen though and restarted the Hard SPL flash from there and it took it just fine. Just FYI for anyone who runs AVG you may have to completely uninstall it to get rid of all its background processes (kill them and the just restart)

i run the pay version of avg and dont have any troubles... its just how you set it up with ewhat it blocks and what it doesnt.... takes a little bit of time to get set the way you want but well worth it :>

My actual 5 row keyboard stopped working and I'm probably going to have to get another TP, should I re-lock my phone and go back to stock before I turn it back in, since im running Mighty's Rom, or can I just turn it back in?...(hopefully I posted in the right area since im going to attemp to re-lock my phone if needed) =) appreciate all the help in advance fam

I ALWAYS recommend going completely back to stock when your going to be returning a phone. Better safe then sorry.

no there isnt a unlocker like that for cdma phones. this just makes it so you can place custom roms on your device.

What's going on fam.. im trying to relock my phone and it isn't saying locked in bootloader screen... what exactly are the steps i need to take.. i tried to get an activesync and just do it like that and it loaded up and everythign and all that but it still says unlocked.. can somone please give me step by step how to do it and what exactly should it say in the bootloader cus i gotta give the phone back to sprint and they're gonna give me a new joint... appreciate all the help in advance...

if you are trying to re-lock your pro, then it WONT say unlock at the top. thats hust default on the pro's. if you ran the re-locker you are ok.

so if i run the unlocker it "wont" say unlocked at the top of the phone in the bootloader screen?.. what u said is kinda confusing.. and im asking someone to go over the steps for me to re-lock my phone, am i suppose to put the phone in bootloader mode first then run the relocker, or just activesync it and run it... cus i ran it just by activesyncing it and it still says unlocked at the top of the bootloader screen.. and i think u said that it always says unlocked because how the the pro's always say it as default?.. lol.. im lost

.. ok i just tried to relock it again and it went through all of the stages and said it was finished and my phone reset so hopefully that will do it.. so what will it say if it's re-locked?

just hook it up to active via usb, run the unlocker, and you are done. i know it sounds confusing, but it WONT say locked at the top, it always reads UNLOCKED. read a page or two back and you will see what i mean.

ok im about to try it again.. i dont kno why it isn't working for me.. imma tell u what i did from the beginning .. i downloaded the stock rom first and then i tried to re-lock it.. was there something else i needed to do before that or inbetween that?..

yah I did before I tried to re-lock the phone... I dont think it's crapping the thread I'm talking about something that was initially in the thread.. if u dont want to help anymore it's all good.. appreciate what u did so far.. is there any other way to re-lock... and it says the right schematics when it's connected to the activesync and is re-locking, but it doesn't say the right thing afterwards when I go into bootloader mode.. hopefully that will help clear up this confusion..

I'm trying to re-lock my device, I downloaded the stock rom and put it onto my device, then i start an activesync and run the re-locker and it goes through the process and says complete, then after it is done I put it back into bootloader mode and it says this :

but while the re-locker is "so called" downloading to my device I believe it says this:

But after it is finished downloading it goes back to

unlock my newee pro without any issues.


@jsgeezie what i did since i have to send my mogul back and did it few other times just put back to stock rom and leave it unlock.. i was not question about it at all...
