Updated October 18th* - The new 8.0.7 version of Skyfire fixes many of the bugs you might see in the comment section including some sound issues when watching flash videos. If you already have Skyfire, be sure to upgrade to the latest version. :PDT_Armataz_02_22: i use this all the time to get on actual Wckediden and reply 2 posts!

this is by far the best browser ive used... way better than opera... as u can see.. the screenshots speak 4 them selves.. u can watch actual youtube on the site!! or any other flash video site! :banger:

ahh the login of death! lol once upon a time, ye olde skyfire didn't let anyone log in cuz of server problems or something. but i thought that was solved cuz lately i have no problems and it's better than ever!

uh..i don't think so lmao if they give it to you, how can they use it? lol if you can't log in, maybe log into the skyfire website and make sure all your info is correct. only time i had trouble logging in was when i switched devices. all i had to do was change devices. hope that helps

I downloaded this and when try to connect it switches back and forth from "Acquiring Data Connection..." to "Check FLight Mode..." and never connects (no its not on flight mode). I have a HTC Touch Vogue on the Cricket network and they still use a PROXY. Could that be the reason?????

ok.. first u have 2 make an account at skyfire.com (i have provided the link) and im not quite sure about the proxy...

i wouldnt send username and password bro..... no need for that.... he can change it on their site and talk to them on the matter and see what they say.....

Yea I tried this on my TP the day I got it (25th from local BB) - Had heard lots of great reviews but I could not get it to work on my TP. I installed it on to the Flash card so that may have been the problem. I havent tried to install again since it was freaking out. The screen was all whack. Anyway I hope that that bug gets fixed soon cuz I wanna better browser for the TP. Opera is ok but I still think there could be better lol

i hear ya dude... skyfire is much better than opera.... but skyfire isnt 4 VGA screens...yet.. hopefully... thats y it dont work in ur "TP" sorry... ill keep u updated if it cums out 4 VGA

I believe that opera has a lot of potential but skyfire has it beat in many ways. opera is so annoyinglly slow that I can't bear to use it anymore exept for big downloads. if they work on the speed and flash then id keep it

Thanks legend... I had the latest skyfire version before... but I did a soft reset of my MD and I geuss I forgot to back up my skyfire...lol!

Yes..i clicked it on and off whle watchin some youtube. Even soft reset. This browser is the bomb! Cant wait to get the sound fixed cuz its already making me play with the phone more than i already do! lol

i use opera since my main two devices are VGA and skyfire doesnt work correctly with VGA as of yet....... i was a fan of skyfire though when i was on the QVGA devices.
