i couldn't get it working on my mogul.... it would firup do some stuffs then i would get stuck with a blue ball bouncing side to side.

also found this out:
This has no chance of working on any phone without an MSM7X00 CPU

This is pretty sweet, buttt,
- Doesn't seem to allow on-screen keyboards so I'm guessing this is basically a no-go for touch-screen only phones - for now? (I have the Sprint HTC Touch).
-It uses a bootloader to run and you have the interface, very simple, nice animations, clean, no noticable lag. Kinda iPhone-like thing going.
-Not many features to choose from, it has a Dev Tab, so this is probably a beta version, doesn't look like the picture before above in the description
-Just simple tabs, calls, contacts, browser, doesn't read contacts from WM
-Browser is something I like, it's smooth, scrolls nicely, loads pretty well, it's something to try out for sure, mind I could only load cnn.com and few others using the listed bookmarks since no keyboard function
-Maps, couldn't do much again w/o the keyboard and didn't seem to have anything for GPS.
-Responsive touch screen, it felt nice using something like that, again, like the iPhone.
- couldn't find a way to close out of it properly w/o soft-resetting...
- 2nd run of it, had no network connection

Thanks to BiohaZard for the post, I have been looking into this since and trying it out.

It is now at v1.0. Go to:

Quote:

I created a CAB installer for Android. I have tested installing it to the device and it works. You can install it to a memory card but the link in the Programs folder doesn't always work. If it doesn't you can go to the Programs folder on the memory card and manually run haret.exe
I'm not the one who ported Android to the Touch, I merely make it easier for most people to use by providing an esay to install/uninstall CAB file. dzo over at xda-developer's is the one doing the real work.
This installer is an all in one installer. You may have to edit the default.txt in the Programs folder if your carrier requires different settings to connect. I use Sprint and the file that comes included works.
Requires microSD card with at least 256mb of free space. I tested this on a 2gb microSD card it works. I will test it with a 1gb card and a 4gb microSDHC card later.
I will try and keep this updated with the latest build.
Keep in mind the following:
To run, just to go to Start-> Programs -> Android. Click Run and wait.
This should allow you to save information and install programs now
You really shouldn't need to do any screen calibration in Android
You might have to get an Internet connection going before you launch
So far, the only way I found to get out of the browser is to press volume up until it eventually exits.
Key Controls:
Camera button - Keyboard
Volume Up - Back button. If you are in the browser, open a new tab and slide the volume rocker up to exit
Volume Down - Menu
End call - Power button
Talk key - Launch dialer
Power - Not entirely sure
Basically, just install the .CAB to your phone, have the necessary space on your SD.

My takes on it, looks a lot better than previous build and runs smooth when it doesn't crash but still buggy. This one has more of the menu options - maps, camera, media, music, browser and the full home screen look. Crashes often and lags at some areas of the UI, but definitely has a future so let's what happens!

This is for the Touch as of now.

managed to get android working on my titan.

things i noticed:

first boot attempt, it said not enough memory, so soft resetted before booting again.

kinda cool watching it boot into linux with the little penguin thing.

limited keyboard function, all i used was Q = menu and caps/lock to close program.

desktop/home screen interface required some decent finger scroll or stylus movement to move back and forth across the 3 screens.

when you open the applications tab, if you scroll down, it's easy to accidentally open a program shortcut.

calls work, calling out, it would take several rings before the other phone would start ringing.

sms - can receive, but couldnt type up a text to reply.

overall, still a lot of work required but lots of potential
