ThrottleLauncher 0.9.2 Beta Freeware
Requirements: * WM 5.0, WM 6.0, WM 6.1
* NET.CF 2.0 (3.5 strongly recomended)
* 200 Mhz CPU recomended. (The higer the better )
* SD instalation is supported but installing to device will make it work faster.
* 800 KB free space.
* QVGA display

Overview: ThrottleLauncher is a launcher app designed for Windows Mobile 5 and 6 in c# and c++. Basically it consist's of several pages containing rows. Each of the rows depending of it contents can be scrolled horizontally by using the finger. The app is fully configurable through xml files so the rest of the features depends on the diferent setups. By installing the 0.9.1 Beta the ThrottleLauncher will look like the new HTC Touch Diamond TouchFlo3D -> Manila UI . It is no 100% Manila-copy but it is a fast working Manila look-alike for QVGA devices.


The rows can contain several type of items:
* icons: can execute any program or link.
* clock: analog clock.
* text: can be updated periodically and can contain dinamic dates or registry values.
* photo dialer: you can place contacts with asociated photos on a row.
* running and recent apps: all running and recent apps can be shown inside a row.

lol im running it right now not bad at all...Running it with my new take 3..runs flawless even with weatherpanel.no boot freezups.just remember to uncheck weatherpanel in today settings.

this app is so ****ing sweet!!!!!!! the email and the sms page really works, the music tab looks off da heezy, the animation is smoother and faster, your op mon name shows, and the pages scroll with the background (doesnt turn black like the old one) and the top and bottom trays are semi transparent so any wallpaper blends nicely, im looking at the weather page so i cant comment yet, oh and the settings page changed also with more options available

Speed is no faster than the previous release. Still says PAGE LOADING between tabs and takes 2 minutes..

if it takes 2 minutes you have problems on your phone and need a hard reset.

on a fresh install i have never gotten the page loading ......mine simply flys....vey fast....then again i have 27mb on my mogul lol.

lol maybe your issue....stock = crap...... I haven't run stock since i took it out the box...could be memory.....whats your memory showing? how many things you got installed to main os?

so im having some issuses with this and i dont know why? when i check the throttle today plug it keeps telling me error and that i have no theme selected with throttle. also i got it to run one time but it was only the size of half the screen. it asked me to autoload apps and i picked yes thinking i could reconfig but it wont even pull up? what is the deal? i installed both i go to config and its all there i just wanna see how it rolls before i make all the changes! what gives?

yes because you knw when you chheck it in today then you click ok well it tried to load and gave me the error message which locks me up! i soft reseted it then and finally got back to my settings to uncheck it so that message would go away

never heard of that happening before........ dont know what to tell you out of ideas besides reinstall and see what happens and make sure you have it on the main memory and not the card.

i cannot make pic right m=now but when u go to file explorer clock the arrow to the left for a drop down box and click storage card, then find the cabs which should be near the bottom of the page then run them and soft reset the go to start, settings, today, hit the items tab and check throttletoday and hit ok

to get the start bar black u have to install ui tweaker and in that program go to tdyscheme changer and launch it and click windows mobile 5.0 and above check " use black bars" ans click ok but to have black background i do not know where to get it. i have a universe one. i hope this helps

on the config im having trouble locating my email through the windows...where is at...right now it is set at windows/tmail.exe and i have the account name at yahoo. on the today screen its shows i have so many unread emails but when i highlight that screen i get nothing..let me know if you know...

mine did this with email...bu i actually had email...sync it with email..just cause you view it through throttle launcher dont mean it shows read....launch tmail...then go to email in box.....i bet the show new..

ya i can go to messages and there new there but like when i get a text i can read it through throttle but when i get an email it doesnt show and i have to go to messaging through programs. who knows

Had it all up and running beatifully, then I flashed the TAKE 3 ROM and put it on again. But now when I go to config there are no categories on there to add programs or customize. And none of the buttons work, like config button in the settings tab.

hmmm...I reinstalled and now it won't load at all. When I choose it from today items it says "Error while loading the today plug-in. Please ensure you have intalled themes and that they're properly assigned to the today plug-in..." Same when I try to launch the stand alone app. It worked fine on the Take 2 ROM so I don't know what the issue might be.

EDIT: Disregard. Reflashed ROM and it fixed the problem.

Alrite, hate to be the first to ask all this cuz it prolly means I'm missin somethin real obvious. But how do i get my photos and music to show up. It seems like its set up right.
WMP: \Storage Card\Music
Picture Path: \Storage Card\My Docs...Pictures
(And yes, my stuff is on my storage card) I even tried checking autounload (whatever that is) under music.
But nothing shows up on my Music or Photos tab. Any help?
And how do I change the weather city?

pretty sure you need to set it to open an app in the tab and there should be a list to choose from

Yeah, I figured it might be somethin like that, but the only options under music are "Messaging" and "Device Lock" and there's nothing to chose from under pictures, just a place for "icon action" which is set to "page" by default and "Picture Path" which is set by default to "Storage card\my docs...".

Anyone got specifics on their config?

UPDATE: Alrite, figured out the pics, and weather. Just had to reset (duh). But still a no go with the music.

yo the app is hot mayne.. but i have a lil problem the only way i can use this app is if i go to programs and click on it... i have swcked shell too maybe that's what the problem is... i put throttlelauncher on my fone two ways.. i did it from the desktop set up and that didnt work then i moved the cabs to my storage card and then installed it to my harddrive on my mogul... is there any way i can make this my default today screen... thanxs to anyone who can help a brutha out..

yea like the instructions say you uncheck everything from start/settings/personal/today/items and than you check throttle launch and than it will be default.

please read bro this has been stated already.... jsut go to throttle config and than you set it to the plugin that you wnat... i use marsware.

actually thats not required, the weather is built in. i put my cities name and it displays without any weather apps

yea bro, no need for anything cuz everything is built in!!!! just remember to name the city the same way as the default for example (San Juan,PR)

where it says picture path, you map it to the FOLDER where your pics are, do not open the folder, just highlight it and press ok (that should do it)
