s2w lucid theme
 

s2w Lucid theme is an expansion from the blackdrop theme and more versatile that I created and tested for the Sprint HTC touch. A worthy note before installing, you need the following:

Rltoday
Ultimate Launch
HHC
Weatherpanel
Today Agenda(its what I am using in my theme)

Included within the theme are simple instructions made easy to install.

As with Blackdrop... you can add in this version any background as it blends with the theme. So be creative.

I think this is sweet but have a question. I thought the Home Customizer (HHC) was only for htc home plugin? Htc home plugin is not required for this app, am I missing something? Does the home customizer work also for the rltoday or something? And one more question if I may, what is today agenda? I just did a quick search but found nothing. Thanks!!

you dont use the home cutomizer or the home plugin this is rl today.

I understand but in the readme file, it says I need to have home customizer (HHC) installed and it actually give me instructions to do something with the customizer. It quotes:

*****HHC*****
Go to your HHC settings and on (Appearance) set from the list, "Bg" to transparent and "icons"
to original. Then go to the (Tabs) and make active music and profile. Everything else make inactive.

Thanks, I guess what I'm really after is I want to know if this is going to work for my htc home plugin and so I wouldn't have to use rltoday. Maybe "mike20pr" could answer this for me since he posted this app. But thanks for the help D/\SH.

i believe that its pretty clear, its talking about only making active the music and profile tabs (you do this in settings/today/htc home) rltoday is the main plugin but this step is to make htc home your music section in UL

hhc is to make the htc home transparent so it blends with the theme

Ok, just wondering because I thought that HHC is only for Home plugin, this says nowhere that I need the home plugin. It list all the other programs I need but not the home plugin. It's clear as far as what to do I agree but just wanted to know if I should have the home plugin active, I'll mess with it. Thanks!

1)So on my HHc it doesnt say transparent, it says semi transparent, i was told to download transparent, but where the hell would i find that? Ive searched thread after thread and cant find it, its annoying not seeing the start menu.
2)Next question does anyone know how to map the program it the xml file so the program icon will work, i can find the correct path.
3)i know it was told to me but it doesnt work, i cant get my audio manager to work on the music tab, ive tried everything.
4)Last question is there any way i can get rid of the task tab and change it to something else like my nav or something?

1. you download appearences through HHC under the tab download appearences.
2. you make the shortcut by editing the xml file to open what you want to.... open it in notepad and hook your phone up to activesync and than click on the first thing and overwrite the htc with that so for instance delete what it has now and than go Program Files\i-nigma\i-nigma.exe
3. dude come on seriously your making this too hard choose under audio in HHC the audio manager and add the two tabs and get frid of the others like the instructions say.
4. you do that through ultimate launch go into the ul config and change the program to what you want it to open......... it has to be a homescreen plugin though for it to work.

i cant access the settings because anytime i hit start the phone freezes

and i just downloaded the transparent and i didnt do anything, it pulls up an outline of where it is supposed to be but theres nothing there, then the phone freezes and its soft reset time. Everything in HHc was done like that and it still doesnt work, im really not incomepetent, music and profiles are active and everything else is inactive

mike20 good looks on bringin this over from ppcgeeks i got a few questions (with pics to refrence)

1. how do i get today agenda to work?

2. whats the deal with this msg under my task menu "No Path To DLL Found" how do i fix that?? (ref pic)

EDIT : A few more issues seems to have popped up after a soft reset :
- when i hit the contacts button on the today screen i get " Error opening the shortcut or locating the target name" - why and is there a fix?
- when i hit programs on the today screen i get " the file 'HTC Programs" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found - why and is there a fix for this as well?

you must not have today agenda installed.. i chose to use swcked diary instead of today agenda & had to remap the today plugin via Ultimate Launch Config.. either install today agenda or edit the settings as its trying to load today agenda & you dont have it..

today agenda, i dont use it personally but i believe that it shows a more datailed version of your tasks, so it automatically loads for you (dont quote me on this cuz im not sure)

im not sure about the DLL issue but the first thing i noticed is that your UL isnt activated, go to UL settings, and go to the last tab and press activate to unlock UL, if you got the app from this site then it should activate no prob (maybe that can solve the issue)

for htc programs, everyone gets this error, you need total commander to edit the skin.xml file in the lucid filder and remap that button to wherever you like (you can do the same with the contacts button, and map it to open your contact app (icontact, pocketcm, vito etc.)

hmmm weird... which settings cant you acess??? RLToday?? ok im not sure what is causing this but you can use this workaround. go to the rltoday folder with file explorer, delete the default theme (folder) and rename the lucid folder (default) and reload the plugin, so you dont need to access the settings

in HHC you can download numerous backgrounds within the app., go to downloads tab, and find the transparent background, download and apply

you need total commander to edit the xml file found in the lucid folder to whatever you like

your music tab is basically, htc home, and if it opens wmp, then you need a registry edit for it to open audio manager, or do what i did... go to UL settings and assign the top text (MUSIC) which is an icon, to open audio manager when pressed (i have mine to s2p, as you can see in my video)

yes you can change the task tab by replacing the tasks plugin with anything you like, but if you want it to blend nicely, you need a new header icon and top icon made from scratch to match unless you dont mind it saying (TASKS)

how do i remap the buttons and whatever.. to be real at this point its like ur talkin a diffrent language..i dont know to do any of that

i did the ul stuff thats not a problem, i just need the assistance with the t.c.

well i did a hard reset and started from scratch and fixed everything but the audio. i have all my HHC settings correct and the only thing coming up on the audio tab is the icons where i change my ring type from the factory htc home tab. I double checked everything then checked it again. Is there an issue with the program? On that tab nothing works when you touch it, so its just there.

do you have the 6 tab htc home??? its sopposed to have the music tab as well, if you dont, then install the latest htc home, so you have the player also

maybe a stupid question or maybe i've looked over the answer somewhere, but how do you get rid of the bottom task bar..the one with the two softkeys, contacts and calender? It's also causing a scroll bar which ruins the look of lucid lol

oh shit i 4got, my bad, here it goes...

1.use total commander to edit the skin file found in the lucid skin folder in prgram files/rltoday

2.press the button illustrated below to edit the file (you should get all codes)

3.edit the path to the contact app you are using, example (program files/ icontact/ icontact.exe) use the scroll bar in the image as reference to find it faster

4.do the same with the programs, and file explorer buttons, i circled the text in cade you want to change the name of the button and also circled the path you need to edit to get it to open the app of your choosing

i never found the file that opens the programs either, you can change the text of the button and link it to another app (or ifonz if you still would like a launcher)
