Requirements: WM2003, WM5
Overview: new version of HTC Camera, ported from the HTC Polaris/Cruise Touch.

There are a number of improvements stated:
Better Hue & photo settings
Zoom in Video (not at 3MP photo though)
Direct access to Camera Album
Video plays through WMP direct

when i install it .. will it replace the old htc camera? would i b able to access this the same way?

not sure i havent had the chance to install and truthully i only use my camera on special occasions....... ive maby snapped 100 pics with it max since i always got the digital on me.

love it i had it on my touch and made a video look here at the team htc utube camera album video on the touch.... will also be under my youtube name iamdasht19

yeah it does make the images clearer and i had it bu ilt into my roms when i used it so i dont know if it replaces it or not.

I tried this out by installing it, not as part of a rom... I installed it and reset. Tried to open the camera and it said camera failed to initialize and I got an error. :102:

Has anyone tried to install this with any success?

Luckily a simple uninstall and soft reset got the camera back to normal without a hard reset :thumb:

i had a problem with the install on my mogul the camera could not format. does anyone know if i need another program with the this one to update my camera

I highly doubt that you need to install another program in order for this to work; but watch out, I was reading on XDA forums that this has a HUUUGE problem with draining the battery...
