You MUST put this file on your actual phone itself...please don't put it on the storage card, it wont work properly :)

I tried to install the file on my Touch but it wont install it gives me an error message which says the file VTap_ppc cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file. I tried to reinstall it but nothing same error message. Please help!!! I would love youtube on my touch lol. Thanks

you have to install to the main memory too.... you can go www.vtap.com and check out the site for more inso on troubleshooting.

make sure your installing the correct version as wel as make sure that your installing to the device also place the CAB file onto the storage card and when it asks you where to install it to pick the device if all that doesent work then do a soft reset and try again and if that dosent work id try doin a hard reset then try to install it again and if even that doesent work than your shit outa luck bud

hey whats up just wanted to let you know that i tried installing the file again and still nothing i still get the same error message as i put up before. I save the link you have on top from vtap to my desktop then i drage it over to the Touchs storage card and i try to open it up but it gives me that error message the file VTap_ppc cannot be opened. now i got a question about the new youtube link that cuzinbuckbx posted. which is the one that i download on the sprint htc touch the tcpmpsmartphone or the tcpmp.zip and also i have to download the flash video bundle right? also when i download all of this where do i send it to the device correct?

ok u download tcpmp.zip and flash video bundle
place the files on your storage card
then install them and when it asks u where to install say device

i did everything you said i downloaded the two files to my desktop dragged them to the storage card then iwent to my phone and i tried to install them from the phone but it said the files were damaged hopefully you can help me again lol

yae thats a common problem

(for general knowledge--when you download zip files, unzip then b4 u drag em ova to the phone)

p.s. how are those pics goin do u got em (dont respond in this thread to this question) (retorical question) lol

added rapidshare links and they are cab files only so no need to extract just drag to the phone

yeah i tried to unzip them from my computer but it gives me an error message that windows cannot unzip the file, dont get it kid please help me when you find the solution thanks brother

now i am having another problem now how do i watch youtube. i go to youtube .com on the phone and it gives me an error message when i try to watch a video. im not sure on this one for like the first time ever lol.... i dont use youtube.com on my phone and all so im not sure.... try going to the mobile site of the youtube and see if it works for you better. www.youtube.com/mobile or you could also try ytpocket.com

it because the browser u are using dosent have the correct plugin to allow the video to play (on teh other hand v tap is a standalone program that dosent run in the backround of your browser, that aloows you to sear for and play videos from multiple video hosting websites)

i relize you figured it out but i just wanted you to know why you were getting that message

if im correct u dont run the exe file on your phone but the pc and have the phone connected to your computer and it will install it on your phone for you

Has anyone else had trouble with loading internet explorer after installing the files needed to watch youtube videos, my ie wont load any pages, just says: The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again.

i havent i got it to run no problem.... if your talking bout vtap try going to www.vtap.com and see if reading up on it from the developers site helps some also.

It's basically a Video Search Engine, type the name and it searches the best pic.
