I just wanted to know what this download was if i downloaded it to my touch. What is its function. Thanks!!!

i think your meaning Swcked Backup. basically what it does is when you run the backup it saves the phone in its exact state with everything at the tine of the backup. so lets say you do a backup than 3 hours late while on the go you have to do a hard reset or your phone isnt running right. you run the restore exe file and your phone will be exactly the way it was 2 hours beofre!!! this includes all programs, games, contacts, emails, text messages, everything on your phone!!!!! hope this helps and if you have further questions on this app feel free to ask in this thread. Swcked Backup locks up system every time I start a full backup. Then I have to do a soft reset. I've already uninstalled and downloaded file again to see if that would fix the prob., but still the same thing. Please help.

hey dash i was wondering..,, it would be a good idea to store the restore file tothe storage card right cause if you install it to the phone the hard reset will delete it ? correct?

and for chufo i would say do a hard reset but becarefull cause that will wipe your phone of everything

ummmmm not necessarily a hard reset. some people have said thay swcked backup has caused problems on the touch even though i couldny reporduce the errors. you can search the forums here for sprite back thats is WM6 compatible and that will do the same thing as swcked. hope this helps and any further questions feel free to ask.

Ok guys. after reading Tiger's post, I figured it out. the prob was, i WAS putting the backup to the card. thought it would be a safer place. i just did a backup and saved to the device and no probs. if you're going to, i suggest just cut and paste file to your card if you prefer.
