ok i just downloaded this by my question is how do i make sure my contacts are saved or how do i only save my contacts and what not.


right now i got all my contacts on my mogul and i dont have them on my touch i want to transfer all my contacts to my touch so i dont have to reenter all the numbers manually. how would i do this?


also if i choose back up everything does it back up everything even internet bookmarks and like that?


because i also though about copying every single lil thing from my mogul to my touch so i dont have to install it all one at a time on my touch i just copy it over and its there.

i dont think ter is a way to just do contacts and registy and all the backup from this cant be ran on different makes of phnes. but try pim backup found here: https://www.wckediden.com/showthread...ight=PIMBackup

ok ill try the program you gave me. it will let me be able to put everything from my mogul to my touch including contacts and programs and everything already installed.


but not sure wat u meant by the registry part is?

nope only conttacts becasue programs and installs are part of the registry..

so your saying i can use this program to copy all my contacts to the touch from mogul. but if i wanna do the rest of what i want to do i have to use the other program you suggested?

you cant bro the registry on all phone are differnt and if yu ty toback that up or the installe programs us (which are in the registry when installed) you can really mess your phone up neednghard reset or reven brick it.

i understand now. i cant do all the programs and like that transfer so i have to reinstall them on my touch if i want.


but my main thing i wanna do right now is just copy all my contacts from one phone to another so i dont have to reinstall them


and also possibly transfer bookmarks of websites!?

you could email the bookmaks to yourself through your phone. and i use mail2web to back up my contacts. al you do is follow te direction through this tutorial and than you will be straight and hae them backed up.... all you will need to do from there is click activesync on your phone and set it up again and you will be golden.

the thing is i dont have email or internet on my mogul thats the whole reason why i wanna transfer all my info to my touch. but alright ill check the link to see what i can do.

i guess its all good. i guess that was my only option is to write it all down than enter them all on my touch. inless you can think of another way!?

hahaha well i dont remember seeing an option for that on the program backup list right now. but i guess i gotta look again!? lol.
