I’ve been a Gmail (https://www.androidauthority.com/gmail-manage-subscriptions-digital-detox-3609613/) user for as long as I can remember, which is evident by the 1,607 unread emails that are currently in my account. And while I don’t blame Google for my lack of email organizational skills — although this was never an issue when Inbox was around (https://www.androidauthority.com/i-love-gmail-but-miss-inbox-3548684/) — I still feel like the company could drastically improve the service with just a few simple tweaks.
My main issue is with the Android app (https://www.androidauthority.com/best-new-android-apps-october-2025-3602966/), although most of my suggestions also apply to the web version. Here’s what I think the tech giant should change and why.
