Samsung is expanding the availability of the One UI 8 (https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-one-ui-8-everything-to-know/) update for its popular mid-rangers from 2022, the Galaxy A33 (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a33/) and Galaxy A53 (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a53/). The two phones received the update in Korea a week ago (https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-a53-galaxy-a33-get-one-ui-8-android-16-update/), and they are now leaving One UI 7 behind in Europe (https://x.com/tarunvats33/status/1981017796596453620?t=6M6VOOy74_xd_6kSyCjO0Q&s=19). The One UI 8 update will probably go live in more regions this week.
If you own a Galaxy A33 or A53, you can identify the update by the build numbers A336BXXUEGYI8 and A536BXXUHGYI9 respectively. To download it, head into the phone's Settings > Software update menu and hit the Download and install button.
