well the device is rooted as of this morning so you should be good to go.

any one having text messaging issues ... i cant receive any...been like dis for a day and a half im gettin tired of always hard resetting ......tempted to take it back..... i have no task killers installed... i mean i dont know whats goin on....

its a known issue with sprint.They are aware of the situation and is trying to get a fix for it.If you can go tot he market place and install handcent sms.Then disable the sms notification in settings the sprint default settings that is...

yea thanx bro jus go back with my new hero hope this one doesnt have the same problems or problems period.....but the guy told me that some heroes have google labeled on the back and he said those r the ones that r having problems but idk....i didnt know sum said google and others said htc.....

it means i stayed up way too late at night with zinx and we finally got root access to the filesystem so we are able to do crazy things like flashing roms...sorta like windows mobile... and we can modify the system to allow us to save applications to the sd card instead of on our precious internal storage...and it also allows us to turn our phones into actual linux boxes... pretty sweet, huh?! check out the attached image...its how i had my herro setup a few minutes ago...
