Hello everyone here at Wckediden.. They call me MR. LoCKDoWN.. Or BRoCKLoCK for short... I like the URL of this site (Wckediden) because if you seperate the words you get the three words Smart, Phone, and Junkie. I for one like to think of myself as Smart, plus i am a Junkie (not necessarily a drug addict, but trust me, just take me at my word.) And every smart junkie has a phone, LoL. My phone happens to be a HTC Touch Pro. It is flashed to MetroPCS. Ever since i got the phone i haven't been able to put it down. I guess that makes me a SMARTPHONEJUNKIE! Its gotten so bad that my girlfriend is pretty jealous of my phone. She has even said that she wished i never had gotten it! The jealousy thing isn't so bad tho, it has it pros and cons. She does nag at me to "quit messin with that damn phone" but shes a real sweetheart so it doesn't cause to many issues, ie arguments, anger, ect. But she does come up with some pretty creative ways to get me to "quit messin with that damn phone," IF you know what i mean, =D LoL!!!!
Anyways, after flashing my phone over 100 times in the past couple months, and not really being satisfied with any one ROM in particular, Ive starting attempting a few projects of my own. I've been messing around with some kitchens to cook my own ROM, and i've been doing some skinning for TF3D. Nothing major so far, just some taskbars and clocks and such. I would like to make a full featured skin for Gen.Y Manilla, but this is quite a feat. I actually havent come across any 2.1 themes yet which are very detailed. Most themes seem to be made for prior versions of TF3D. I have come across some Rhodium skins which come close but dont quite hit the mark. Id like to have one for 2.1 that implements as much detail as possible, especially in the new All People contact manager, and every little icon on every tab and such. I know its alot of hard work learning which files correspond to which images and such, and i might wind up giving up completely and just have a custom TF3D taskbar, systray, & clock, but I will see what i can come up with. I also have been working with little manilla tweaks and mods to get my phone exactly how i want it (which seems like a never ending, life draining quest.) Believe it or not i thik i have put more hours in with my phone in the first few months than i had when i first started playing World of Warcraft (which is an even more fruitless pursuit.)
Anyhow, if my work leads to anything substantial i will make sure and post anything worthy of posting. Thank you and Merry Modding!
