This is my first ROM so it's not going to be perfect. It uses the latest 23060 sys/xip. It is based of the update to 6.5, which is being called 6.5.1 There are some enhancement to 6.5 that some will and some won't like. These include a smaller taskbar at the top but a bigger taskbar at the bottom. Due to this not all programs will display properly. This should be fixed as time goes but just remember that you may have display issues that can't be fixed at the moment. Another possible issue for some is that menu's sometimes are more finger friendly but display much less information that you maybe used to. Also of note is that this uses 2.1 Manilla which is only compatible with mods made for 2.1 not 2.0 or 1.2. Also many taskbar mods can mess with the bottom taskbar buttons.

That being said this should be very stable with only minor issues. Please let me know of any issues you may come across though. Give me thanks if you like my work.

Can I get the many following changes done to the first thread. Can the title read

This is my second edition of a very up to date sprint 6.5.1 ROM running 23053. For the moment this is ONLY a sprint ROM. It is a fully loaded ROM with all the programs you should need. This ROM is made using Calkulin's Kitchen. It is as stable as I could hope for so far and very fast.

I will post a full program list soon as it is getting VERY late. One thing of note is that this ROM includes Sprint TV that WORKS and Sprint Nav that also works.

This is still a work in progress as I am still learning as I go but should still be stable enough to use and get to play with the newest microsoft ROMs.

rom works well no major problems as far as I can see.. then again im no expert ... the only things i see is that . personally i dont like the old style volume controls and the face that there are cab files in the programs list .. besides that you are doing a great job and im looking forward to future updates

ok guys this is the deal. I install this rom.I must admit its stable and smooth but i noticed that you have alot of folders everywhere in startup, maybe its me because i'm used to either NSFAN or enegry roms which it's organized. This rom is bloated i suggest offering the cab files and let the member choose which to install or just put in the basic stuff like the everyday usage.

I like this rom version i think this is the latest rom from ms before it goes stable. and on the market..I noticed that the fonts are to big maybe it's me like in the connections settings the scroll box needs to shrink down a little bit see attached so you know what i mean.

but overall i do like it but needs improvement..Good job making this rom stable and quick, oh by the way i did not notice any freezing and that's a plus in my book..

I mean zero disrespect to big jew and i did not even think of it, my gamer tag has been xxTMURDAxx for many years and I figured that Murda ROM would be better than TMurda ROM. If Jew wants me to change it that is no problem at all as I have A LOT of respect for all the hard work he's put into this site.

on another note I've noticed that Skyfire and Pandora do not work properly yet as I'm still learning to do this, more work than I thought, but I love a challenge.

the only thing i can ask to add is dredsenser to map the keys.. i found that that program works good for the new roms that have been coming out.

thanks for the info, I am still just in school to be a chef and learning bit by bit but some of my future plans include:

Organizing everything into folders
adding some different icons
making 2 different ROM's lite and loaded and maybe a titanium only.
custom load screens and some other minor touch's to make it a bit more custom
and Manilla 2.5 as soon as it becomes stable.

All this depends on demand from the community and how much I can learn.

ok trentonmac here is my review.....

i know i said i would say over the next couple of days i would do this but it didn;t take long going through everything.

1. as i said u need dredsenser for maping the hard keys. because on the new roms there is no ok button, so u can't set up the pocketrar unless u have it mapped.
2. u need sub folders to take away the cluter in the start menu.
3. it is a battery and ram hoge. after opening 5 apps/programs and having them running it really lags and freezes up. it only has 80mb of ram. im used to 100mb too 120mb in new and old roms.
4. ie is not working right. that need to be fixed. plus take out skyfire.
5. atcontacts is really laggy when scrolling.
6. TF is a lil laggy when sliding the scroll bar. also in tf the pictures when fliping through them it's a lil laggy.
7. u have live search and bing... sense bing is out now there is no reason for live search...
8. this is my 2 cents on screen shots, don't use swcked screen shot use shake and save... it's much easier to use for multi screen shots.

sorry to say i give this rom out of 1-10 rating i give it 5... it needs alot of work.... just clean it up a bit and don't put so muuch on it will be a vary good rom.... im looking forward to ur next release too see how mcuh u have improved....

alright 1.02 is uploaded now. The download is now 107MB instead of 124MB and the pagepool has gone from 32 to 20. It now boots with 303.22MB free storage and 119.75MB free memory which is 39% and this is with Manilla 2.1. It boots with 130.37MB free Ram which is 33% with titanium.

Some programs have been put into folders but it's still a work in progress, I just wanted to get you guys a snappier version (hopefully). btw dredsensor is now in the rom.

hey im here to help as much as i can... i know what i like and what most people look for in roms...... i mostly flash only if the rom is to my liken and catching my eye, or if the rom has great potential and needs a lil work.

ok i just got a missed call the notfication popup puts a white box at the bottom of the screen and does not go away i had to soft reset to get it gone.... on ur next release can u dissable htc notifaction?

I've been unable to repeat the white box thing, except when I switch over to titanium, but I'll see if removing it helps.

ok check it out dredsensor was not letting tf load im using another theme then what u r using and it works great now.. i have everything working. the rom is fast and battery life is great... im stilll holding on my 8 out of 10 though.... the sub folders u have r what u need but u need to clean the start menu up more and place more into those folders.... also updating the icons in start menu would help too... this rom is well on its way 2 being a 10 but needs some work.... great job building this rom and how fasted u updated it after review. can't wait till next update. i will be flashing when its done..

I'm testing a beta of 1.04 and I think that you guys will like the changes. Almost all start menu icons are in folders now and i have a custom boot screen also, which is a rough looking image I did up real quick. Trying to give new icons to the folders but having some trouble but will be done by 1.04 release. I also changed the program tab back to the selectable icons.

Seems like there were some problems with the kitchen I was using regarding text's. I am recompiling everything with an updated kitchen, so hopefully this will get fixed. Bad thing about using a new sys like 23053, it's not always the most stable, but the new kitchen should have this issue ironed out.

SOO, guess it's gonna be another day or so of beta testing.

Trentonmac, you're the man with this rom. I have been with the Sprint OEM for a longtime waiting for the perfect ROM to flash to and I found it. I noticed a lot of changes since your last rom update but I still can seem to find a quick link to the task manager like there was for the Sprint OEM rom on the top right. Can someone direct me to where it is on this rom or how to add it? Thanks!!!!!

OK everyone here is MurdaROM 1.05. To the best of my knowledge there is no issues, everything should work fine. This should be very fast, smooth and stable. All texting/email issues should be fully worked out. There is now a working taskmanager on the home screen and all issues with Manilla's home screen positioning have bee fixed. The Top Taskbar has 3 seperate fuctions, press to the left of icons and you bring up the new 6.5.1 menu, press on the icons and you bring up the HTC Notifications and to the right of the icons brings up the classic Task Manager.

Thank you much for the kind words and yes I am the creator of this ROM, Calkulin of PPCGeeks gets A LOT of credit as he creates the kitchen I use but It is my ROM. I will be honest with you, I am not too sure what those cabs are exactly for or what exactly they do.

Sprint Nav is floating around Wckediden somewhere, I would recommend also telenav 5.5 if you have sprint. I do plan on a FULLY LOADED ROM sometime soon, which will have just about everything.

Well Im a newbie and I'd have to say this is the best I've seen so far .. and it runs fast .. however i have noticed that your weather app is missing a few countries, countries and states are mixed together and it has no J listing what so ever and I'm a Jamaican so that some what of a drag .. other than that so far everything seems good

I actually built in a US weather database so for the moment there is no other countries besides U.S. and Canada. Does the weather update for you if you use the new GPS based google my location one?

Oh man I found a Problem!! It may not seem like a big deal to most but for me it is. Literally a life or death problem. TRENT HELP! I installed Magicall, a application that lets you block txts and phone numbers.
But you have a cool system set up to where on the bottom of the screen pops up the okay buttons and menu options appear down there instead of in the application itself. Like the register button for applications.

Anyway the drop down menus arent working in Magicall so I cant enter in phone numbers to block. If I start getting TXTS and Calls from my EXs my GF will kill my a$$.

Is there anyway to get rid of the intergration thing you got going on between the ROM and a Program? Like I noticed I couldnt see Exit, register, or anything else in one application. Thats when I noticed the register and exit keys are some how in the interface of the ROM. which is sweet. But its having a conflict with Magicall. Also if theres anyway to use the original interface that came with the application it could be usefull if this happens with other software someone else installs.

Ahh okay, so thats some kinda custom bar that you just cant turn on and off. Crap, I thought maybe I could disable the bar, use Magicall, and then enable the bar again. But it sounds like you cant do that. I tried a few other call block programs i found else where, but wow they are horrible, The phone rings once before the app kicks in and then it goes to VM. With magicall it never even rings and hangs up on them so they cant even leave VM messages

Dont worry about posting Telenav 5.5, I dont want you getting in trouble. lol I been a member a yr but cant get to the VIP section since they changed the page. But I did find the original Stock Telenav elsewhere, so I will just wait till i hit 80 posts.

Everynight I stream movies to my phone from my PC by using IE on my phone and going to winamp.orb.com
I just went to do that and wow, MAJOR LAG! I mean its seriously bad lag. Also now I dont get a Full Screen when I click Full Screen. Theres black edges all the way around

The lag isnt my connection. Im connected through Wifi to my home router. Im guessing its the Windows Media player in the ROM? I noticed the IE is a dif version but that shouldnt matter should it?

I couldnt find a dif version of WMP to test out, I googled it and went to Microsofts page but it says that version isnt compat with my phone.

ok for the problem that yu are having it isnt his rom it is the build on windows mobile and that app not being compatible with it.....

whast one is stuck on there? and jsut flash to stock than flash back to custom and you will be good to go... also when you go back to stock if you had a custom radio you are going to be reverted back to the old... so if you want one of the different radios you will have to change it again....

well, that flash via usb should have fixed the atr bootscreen, there really isnt any more reading to do on that....... BUT you have to flash BACK TO "STOCK" VIA USB, not just any rom, okay.

I only flash through USB .. and i used the "StockSprintHermanOSBigstorageRUU_dumped" to flash it bck to Stock .. it completed .. i hard flash it .. and itstill booted up with the ATR screen .. now its doing all da configs .. im gunna hard flash it again and see

yuppers that is called throttlelock and can be found here but i havent ever seen it built into a rom

ok here is the new rom screen shots.... well just my home screen. vary good in the start menu u did that vary nice.. this rom to me is a 9.... all that needs to be done now is icons in the start menu.... keep up the great work...

Iknow im late to the party...lol heres my review flashed last night and gotta say the most impressive thing i noticed was the smoothness and no glitches no freezes big plus on that, also battery worked really great went 95% to about 89% in about 2 hrs of use couple of texts and phone calls...also still need some work on the icons on start menu but no biggie....the bad news dont wtf.. happen the i lost the skin to the lower taskbar still worked and everything but showed white squres...lol.. flashed back to previous rom...great rom tho cant wait to put my hands onthe next update....thnxs for ur hard work...

Enjoy 1.07 is now up. Nothing too major over 1.06 but still a worthwhile upgrade. Let me know what you think if you try it.

I really likr this rom really do...battery is great runns really smooth no freezes at all...Trentonmac thnxs for the hard work really heading the right direction with this...the only down side to the whole rom is notification popupsreally look poor quality pretty much the only negative...i know is a working progress great job tho...
