This is a HTC Touch Pro Sprint CDMA ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5.1 BUILD:23414. Native 6.5 Kernel also. This is my first Rom Ive built so go easy on me if there are any hiccups. This is more of a test build than anything. I am really trying, lol. Im fairly new at cooking, this rom is built using:
Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen (v3) 9-28 (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=50857)


BIG thanks to Calkulin, Da_G, NRGZ28 for inspiring me to become a chef, JMZ, and everyone on these forums- you guys have truly pushed the limits of these devices! PPCGeeks FTW. I dont want to take any credit for any of this, the only thing I did was make icons and customize it the way Id like to see it. So if I havent included your name and stuff in this rom is from you, by all means let me know and Ill be more than willing to give you a big thanks!

This Rom currently includes both Manila 2.1 R1.5 VGA Port from Yozgatg at XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542113) as well as the standard Titanium. If theres a demand for it I will upload a separate Rom with just Titanium as well. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and a simple thanks or a donation for my slaving to get this up and running. My main goal for this Rom is to simply have the latest programs, WinMo Build and Manila. I dont really care much for battery life or anything, so if that is what youre looking for I am sorry. I'm just going for a specific look, but I would love to hear your suggestions, comments and questions. Thank you so much for your time.

*This rom has only been tested on a Sprint CDMA Touch Pro, I am unsure if it will work on other carriers. I am not responsible for what may happen to your phone while flashing this and using it.

Known Issues:
-Build 23414 is buggy to begin with lol.
-Dont change the theme in Settings>Home! This will cause the start menu to glitch!
-Task Manager is now available from holding the start menu.
-Some icons I have not changed yet, I plan to have all of them skinned soon.
-Expect some applications to be cut off due to bigger taskbar. And possible issues with fullscreen applications.
-MS Widgets are not working, excluded from current release until fixed.
-Stuck with the Classic Blue background til I can figure out how to change it in Calk's awesome kitchen.
-Volume control is linked to the Microsoft one instead of HTC, this is a bug in 6.5.1.
-Scrolling through recent calls in Tachi Dialer needs to be fixed. *FIX IN THIRD POST*
-Bluetooth Explorer won't start, trying to fix.
-Bluetooth works, just no notification in taskbar.
-I recommend backing up and restoring your settings with Sashimi, if you use Swcked Backup/Sprite Backup/Resco Backup, it can overwrite the changes made in each release-making flashing to a new rom useless. Can also cause lots of glitches!

when i get home ill check and see if this is on the diamond as well.

ps. if u find fixs for something u find wronge or any just post it up and it will get added to first post. but remember this is a bata rom so there will be problems.

pss. yes i have herd the the lastest energyrom is having problems im using sep. 6 energyrom and it runs great and fast.

I'm flashing to a new ROM today, I used this as much as possible. I have mixed feelings about it, cause I can see the intent and the direction this can go, but it had too many glitches that made it not function for my work phone.



The Good

I really like the relocation o the buttons to the bottom of the screen, keeps me from having to jump back and forth for common actions all within one app.
Speed: Touch Flow runs really crisp, much better than stock
Theme: With many similar icons there is a definite feel in the start menu of cohesiveness, plus use of the icons to match the smaller top curtain
Battery: I got better than stock battery usage, but not by much
Input: Many Input options, and finally a ROM that didn't remove the transcriber :)

The Okay

Task bar: Even though being told where it was, activating it at times was difficult to activate the taskbar
The Buttons all at bottom are really nice, but I think that some design needs to go into their appearance. The standard 'soft key' menu options don't fit with the look.

The Bad

Missing Programs as an option for the Touch Flo 3D tabs.
Theme for comm manager, white on white and light gray on white, just can't read the rows.
Trying to change input method is a difficult screen tapping dance unless you go through settings.

The Broken

Notification Area

This does not appear regularly when you tap it. I could never find a pattern of what to to do to make it open, but it seemed to be I had to be in a certain type of app

Programs

Many programs would just crash in the middle of using them, ICS, Opera, hTorch, Beejive, QuickMenu


The plain funny

The standard ringtone of a modem connecting. I was up roofing when this went off and I was freaking out what I did to my phone. I hadn't checked yet what default tones were. Figured I had pocket dialed something somewhere.


I do agree that bringing the icons into folders would help break up the consistency of the start menu icons. They are at times so close, that the eye has to really pay attention to tell them apart.

ok yes i know what ur talking about. well aolt of new roms r like because it it give back in call volume. when the new roms first came out when u hit the volume it just down the the top curten with bigger icons for the task bar. because on the new roms the task bar is really small. well i hope that helps with ur question.

its just like any other rom, you can add aspps, games, themes, etc....
