LOL Introducing myself has always seemed... well... weird. People, including me, can can say anything in an introduction, but the truth will be exposed in the posting. You'll see me in the forums, and get a feel for who I am there. In case you can't wait:
This is not my first experience in a forum... that was back in the day of the 2400 baud modem. However, I'm pretty new to PDA/Smart Phone customizing, despite having had a crackberry since their inception. I've been in IT since around '91 and done everything from tech support to CTO. I recently upgraded to the Instinct with Sprint. Was supposed to be the iPhone killer. Riiiiight. NOT. So, I bought a Touch Pro and a Touch Diamond on eBay and will figure out which I prefer and sell the other... as well as my Instinct. I'm reading a lot of negative things about the Pro's keyboard and chronic failures. However, my brother has had his for quite a while and has never had a problem with it. I think it is great, if it works. Windows Mobile is the only way another cell phone will have a chance to be an iPhone killer, so here I am. I don't really care about the iPhone, but the availability of apps makes me jealous, just a little. Plus, being IT, the ability to remote into my servers is a big, big plus. I always beta test the new Windows OS's (have since beta of 95, and am running W7 now), and I would like to do the same with my mobile device. And that's what led me here... to find out how to get WM6.5 on my phones.
I'm ready for whatever! :soldier:
