Ever wish you could tell how fast you were going as if you were the one behind the steering wheel? Well, gopinathann, has created an app that mimics an automobile speedometer. It uses your devices built in GPS to track how fast you are moving and displays the speed on your screen.

This could come in handy if youre riding a train or bus and want to see how fast youre going; or if your friends like to drive fast and you want to keep an eye on the speed, but cant view the meter from where youre sitting. So far, this app is only available for QVGA and VGA screens, but the developer is thinking about WVGA as well.

damn these speedometers just keep getting fancier and fancier as the time goes along..... doesnt seem that long ago that i had the i930 and we thought that stuff was cool along with the basic 6700 apps and such when that device came out.... hahahaha the good ole times ill tell you what... i still cant believe it took you as long as it did to drop nextel anyways wcked.... it was liek months into building of Wckediden that you finally decided to go out and get your mogul hahahaa
