I'm using MR6 on my phone connecting to a vista 64bit laptop.

I don't know why but recently my Internet Sharing has been buggin out. After I was done on xbl and wanted to do some regular surfing my Internet Sharing disconnected. After a minute of reconnecting it, it did the samething again. It's happened repeatedly now. It shows "waiting for network" and it never reconnects again unless i manually disconnect and reconnect.

I tried looking around and the only thing close that I came across was going into the registry>comm> and changing the value of "allow suspend" to 0. well.. i checked and i couldnt find that root. i did find "MaxCMConnectRetries".. if i changed that from 0 to 1.. will it try to reconnect and fix my issue?

idk. i dont want to mess anything up (specially internet sharing). anyone had this prob and found a fix?

is there any reason you want to use internet sharing on your laptop teathering with a cable? would you consider wireless?

Yeah, I use it...when I'm doing something small and there isn't any wifi.. Since Sprints internet is fast where I live I disconnected my dsl to save some $$$. I don't get on often cause of work but when I do I ususally go on xbox live for awhile and doing that wireless would kill the battery on my phone or overheat. So I rather tether by usb at home cause it charges my phone at the same time and its good to go when i unplug it.
