FingerPoint is just released application launcher for windows mobile phoens. ryhkowal, who developed it, says: I got tired of using standard omnia launcher so I wrote a new one.

You can see it in action here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTCAbs7GCMs.

If you'd like to try VGA Version please find setting.xml file and change:
<FingerPoint Skin="WQVGA/White.xml">
to
<FingerPoint Skin="VGA/VGABlack.xml">

This skin scales icons to be bigger.

If you would like to make your own skin find folder /Skins/WQVGA and inside thare are some xml files that are responsible for skin colors and layout in WQVGA resolution.

Change log:
- Quicker start.
- Less memory used.
- Skinable interface.
- Groups In Favorites.
- Progress bar while caching.
- ExitOnLaunch option (can be configured for every app separately).
- ExcludeFavoritesFromAll option.
- First VGA skin - needs testing.
- Update information.
- Shortcuts to Control Panel settings.
- Removed sorting in Favorites.

Work pending:
- Rotation not supported.
- Scrolling with magnifying glass not always gets you to last item on list.
- Rework of bottom icons.
- Double click on item to launch app.
- Start FingerPoint with param that sets default tab.
- Select by group.

gave it a try... love it. very smooth, load time is pretty decent for loading apps and what not. i like the fact that you can't accidentally open a program while filing up and down the list, but rather having to slide to the right. very nice. keeping it for sure
