how to kill keyboard

ok my keyboard keeps dieing on every custom rom im on bout a day of 2 of me being on them, so when i flash back to stock & re lock it it starts working about 1-10 min later. & when i take it in they say unless they can reproduce the problem its nothing they can do, so how can i get it not to work while im on the stock rom so i can take it for repair??


note: i tried on 2 of the custom roms not to install anything to make sure i wasnt causing it...plz help somebody

Are you taking out battery and hard resetting after flashing for the custom rom's? and if you are it sounds like it might be a hard ware problem. Do a search here on the site CrazyTalent did a tutorial on how to fix your keyboard.

yeah i pull the battery & hard reset...i even hard reset 3 times while i was on stock & the keyboard still didnt work, but once i relocked it it started to work...and id rather have sprint take care of it get my $7/month worth

Take to a sprint store see if they can fix it for you if they can't should give you a pro , dont call it in cause now it is a 100 buck to replace a pro lol....

the problem is the keyboard works on stock

What did u do to kill it bro ?
find keypad.dll in windows folder & rename it to keypad.exe then take any file & rename it to keypad.dll then place it in the windows folder soft reset ,but it disabled everything but the screen so if it goes to sleep your power button wont wake it up
