its a good thing looking at the big picture, that loophole is a back door and a security flaw for those who decide to attack with malware those with precious information the same way they install homebrew apps

palm promised side installing apps without the app store but not this way, we gotta wait for their method so everybody is safe

agreed. the only thing is that now we will have to find another way to install them.

just install all your apps when you're on 1.03 and then swing over to 1.04 when they are installed its not like it gets rid of the homebrew applications :D changing title to 1.04

I don't have any homebrew apps on mine yet anyway so no biggy. And there will always be a way to revert back I'm sure or jail break the phone should I say...I'm sure there will be Palm Pre Roms out in the future as well. They are sending out the web os kit to all developers this summer, even though Palm sdk has been leaked for some time now.
