I just got a verizon xv6900 and like it so far.. already modded it with pointui, touchpal, and a couple other apps..

including a midlet manager for my java needs!

thats a good phone you got there. I use it myself (well the sprints version)and I even got a touch pro floating around I love the form of the phone its just so comfortable and the direction pad worked alot better than the pro. I play way to many games on mine haha. PointUi is cool I like the new 6.5 roms though or Swcked mobile Shell both are real nice mobile shell I would say is the way to go but if my gf were to see it back on my phone she would be pissed cause she remembered how much I fiddled around with it which equals in here opinion alot of waisted time.
