M and P lock up

OK this might sound crazy but here is the prob.. Every time i text some one using the keyboard or the on screen board if i hit M or P my phone locks up..
Crazy right !! but even more crazy if i use M or P in the middle of a word it will not lock.. Only if i start the word with a M or P it locks every time. Some time I can use the Task Manager to close messaging but most of the time i just soft reset. Im running Kaos hibrid rev 5 right now with the HTC home cab if any one knows a quick fix to this that would help a lot. Tryin to text with out saying me is hard lol.....

Yes that was one of the 1st thing I did and when that did not work I reflased the Rom and still no go...

I would re-flash to the stock rom and see if it locks, if it does consider an insurance claim:yahoo:

if it works correctly maybe think about and updated version of the rom you were running or a slightly different rom. Then flash to that.......it's what I would do.

i would go back to stock rom and relock the device and see if it still odes it..... if it does than take it into the repair center and they will fix it for you or give you a new device which would be the pro...... if it does fix it than i would say try going custom again and see what that does to you.

Is there any way to reformat the keyboard to maybe swap keys for ones i never use ??

try one of the fixes there... especiallyt alternative fix 1 for a quick fix...

i too have tried this in the past when experiencing some keyboard issues, and it clear things up for me, for the most part... havent had many keyboard issues since returning to custom...
