I have a lot of programs on my TP and it is a pain in the butt trying to navigate through the program list. I use Swcked Mobile Shell 3, but it is the same for anything.

What i would like to be able to do is create folders (similar to the games folder that appears in Swcked Shell, customisable folder icons would be even better), rename, add, remove and sort my program icons so they are easier to find.

For example, I find programs such as SKTools put a number of unecessary icons in my program list that can be accessed through SKTools itself. I have tried mucking around with file explorer and changing a few things there but with no luck. Another example would be the ability to create a folder that has similar programs inside it, eg SKTools, Advanced Config, Diamond Tweaks etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated

So what you wanna do is create folders inside of file explorer? That can be done but there is no way you can install folders inside folders you mentioned.

No it can be done, it just takes a lil time and patience... start off using total commander or rescoe explorer because they have features that ur basic file explorer does not... from the its just a matter of creating the folder you want in as subdirectories in the over all folder... for example I created a folder with in my windows>start menu folder (or it may have been in my device>program files...cant remember at the moment) I maned the folder utilities, then using total commander I 'cut' and pasted the clean ram, diamond tweak, adv conf, Sktools and other similar installed program exe/ink files into the ne 'utilities folder' that i created... now whenever I access start menu, instead of them being scattered everywhere, there in my Utilities folder (to lazy to make a icon for it)... but thats the gist of how to get it done!

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies people. I managed to figure out for myself uisng Resco Explorer to add folders and delete programs using Windows>Start Menu>Programs.

However, the problem I have is that when I create the folders the do not appear in the Swcked Mobile Shell programs list, only the default list. Also, I find that not all the programs are listed here, I was able to delete some but there are many that are in the programs list that are not listed under the Start Menu in Explorer...?

than you have to add them to the start menu folder inside the windows folder....

That is where I am adding them However, they do not appear in the Swcked Shell 3 program list, only the defualt TP list... Also, all of the files in the programs list in Mobile Shell 3 are not listed in Windows>Stat Menu>Programs.

Where else could they be for them to be listed under programs in the mobile shell?
