Hello guys?
I did not post for a wile cause i was trying some things out and did a couple other things.

I tried to upgrade the rom but no succes i think because of using soft spl.
Tonight or tomorow i will go for it complete.

Now i did some reading and just use my phone...tried a couple games etc ad some music and apps..

But the thing that cleared up some things was.......
I have to drag the files into windows or submaps from windows to get advantage of the thing i add,(not apps that can be installed by opening them).

Well what i mean is ..i have to copy them into the folders from my docs etc before they are added to the ringtonelist etc.
If i only have them on my sd card its not directly detectable.

oh okay... yeah bro.. ringtones... and a lot of apps have to be installed directly to the device in order for it to detect them...

huh works off my sd card on my pro for my ringtones...with no issue...

Interesting, i just installed the few ringtones ive made w/ MP3 trimmer, to the ringtone folder (or wherever the default is) if I had a lot more or collection, id probably try it from my sd card also

Well i tried to add in the menubar from the mobile like u add a wallpaper in windows xp.but On my phone it does not have the option to just add it as that.My casual Phone a nokia ...i just did options when a mp3 was selected and use it as ringtone.
I have to enable the ringtone in the windows mobile wich is confusing to me.
Btw i use a pharos.

ya just mirror ringtones folder on sd card....thats what i did...works fine.

I saw a couple connection problems,then when started it ended when it was at 2% ,after some searching and trying out some things i saw vendor id error.
I dl some other upgrades tried them out and 1 almost did the trick 99% phone turns off and it boots back in the old os.
I do have to mention i am trying the soft spl.
Maybe i better do the hard spl.

what do you mean soft spl..... you want to use the hardspl... the invalid vendor error means that you arent unlocked and able to flash a custom rom.

Yes i noticed this in a couple posts.

I am looking for an app to fic this issue.

The hard spl should do that?i found something but cant seem to find the rar somewhere. the file is named"htc charmed no id.or something familiar.

I must try to keep my mind on 1 thing at the time.
Maybe then i will be able to do this correct.
Just installed this new os at pc..someone is on vacation in our home and i am doing a new study in hard mental stuff.

but... isnt that the touch pro unlocker... I may be mistaken, but I dont think its the same needed for the diamond.... can someone w/ a diamond confirm?

no you would use the diamond unlocker...... in your profile you have the pro and the touch listed.... you may want to update that since that is whats causing the confusion if you have the diamond.

Yes maybe its a little confusing here because i did not told u about what phone it was about.
Well i am goin to experiment on the pharos,so i need to unlock that one first.
When this works out fine i will start on the Diamond,hes from my daughter Btw.
I want to tell u i am verry happy and thankfull u want to help me out with this problem.
So i want to thank the whole team and members for this good nice site with alot of information and helpfull people.
