Comm Manager Skin is messed. Install This - CommManager Fix (http://starmans.wackynoodle.com/ROMs/Topaz_Comm_Manager.cab)

HTC Calculator link on the start menu doesnt work ( found a fix )

Solution:
htcCalculator was already installed, the issue was only that the link on the start menu was not connected to the actual program. So you just go to Device/Windows and scroll until you see htcCalculator in there. After that hold down on it and copy. Navigate to Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and delete the HTC Calculator shortcut that is already there. Then just paste shortcut and if you want you can rename the shortcut to HTC Calculator instead of htcCalculator.

Windows Media Player link on start menu doesnt work ( found a fix )

Solution:
The same procedure as 1 except the file you are looking for in Device/Windows is wmplayer and you can delete Windows Media shortcut from Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and then paste this one and rename it to Windows Media.

If Opera 9.5 Beta is closed using the x button in the upper right instead of using Menu > exit > ok the widgets menu comes up and you cant reopen Opera without either a soft reset or using a dask manager to end the opera9.exe process.

Solution:
The only fix for this is using the Menu > Exit > ok instead of the x there isnt a fix that i have found other than that.

The default lock option is not 6.5 default; it is the old device lock from 6.1 ( found the fix.. this may have been outlined somewhere and I overlooked it )

Solution:
If you go to Start > Settings > Lock > Display Tab > change to windows default instead of windows classic and it will be the 6.5 lock press ok and you'll be all set.

My personal preference for wm6.5 roms on the Touch pro... I love this (and ATR 3 TF3D!!)... now if only I could dual boot this thing...lol... but a nice rom never the less, will be updated to 1.4 soon so If anyone want to flash, it may be worth just waiting...

Nice... glad your enjoying the rom....def one of my personal favorites... just to let u know... 1.4 is out, and although I havent checked the ppc geeks thread in a cpl days... Starmans said he may be releasing 1.5 soon... so, that may be out as well... not sure if your running this version or not, so i wanted to let you now.... Ill be updatin this thread once i get back in a day or two, unless another staff beats me to it, but currently, im mobile and out of town.... thanks for the helpful feedback!

ok now im really having a problem. when i flashed this rom was about 10am yesterday i played with it all day cuz i was off from work. i went to bed about 12am. now that it is 7:30am i grabed my phone and tryed to turn it on it wouldnt turn on the throttel lock was not wantting to work so i soft reset when it starts to boot. it gets to the touch pro screen witch is the first boot screen. at the bottom of the screen the radio drivers and all that stuuf that comes up when u turn ur phone on. well thats about all my phone does now. i still can put it in bootloader i can try and reflash. or u think a hardreset might work? for hard reset the phone has to be off then hold volum up soft reset and power botton, right?

ok i just hard rest again and now it's booting up now. i now how to hard reset but it was not working. i got on youtube and watched a russian video how to hard reset and it still didnt work for a few times but i got it to work. u can hard reset when phone is on and off the same way. but it seems to working ok now. i'll let u all know how things go.

ok sense i had to hard reset, this rom runs flawlessly fast smoth as i have stated. there is 1 thing that does not work in the tf contact edit. if u add a new contact to ur contacts u can't add a photo in the tf. u have to go to start/setting/today and dissable tf3d and then go to start/contacts/add contacts/edit. there is no fix for this that i know of but sense i have been messing with everything sense i have flashed this rom thats the way i found out that u can edit ur contacts so yay for me i found a loophole behind the bug. but other then that best rom i've used so far.

this rom is fairly large gys... about 105 meg download... and sendspace is very slo... there some megaupload mirrors posted in the thrread at ppcgeeks... ill try t find in a li bit to update 1st pst... it helps save on dl time... trust me...

Truthfully I wouldnt say better, but different... main reason Im running w/ this rom is because one i got a taste of 6.5 and seen it running very smooth nd flawless... even better than 6.1 in some case, like scrolling and look... i had a hard time going back to 6.1... I also love the fix to the clock issue in rhodium with the galarm patch (although i find myself using basic win mo today screen more and more) the battery life is great out of box, and so is performance, and it only gets better with the inclusion of the registry settings and tweak from Taylor... but truthfully... if this was a basic 6.1 rom id probably still be on atr, but 6.5 has spoiled me.... outside of that... everything else is actually similar to atr, performance wise and battery wise... its an impressive rom... and im just waitin for my Atr fellas to release their own 6.5 rom(although it may not be for a while) and I can come home!

Nice, definatly interested to hear your thoghts on this one... Ill prolly flash 1.5 tomorrow or l8a this week, itll all depend on weather the update is significant enough to go through the efforts of a reflash

yeah You need the Usb to PC pop-up cab... I had posted it a while back on the original thread at ppc... but ill upload it here for you in a minute

1.5 is also available, but not a lot ha s changed... and in fact it seems starmans took some feedback from others that didnt work out... currently 1.5 is getting negative reveiws and for battery life, the new build of opera having issues and some other minor stuff, even starmans admits to having issues, but he has some major plans for 1.6 so Ill wait to update then, unless someone else wish to post 1.5... but as of now, most everyone is suggesting staying w/ 1.4...

the cab I posted is different than the htctopcpopup... I found that one pretty useless... the one i posted gives u the option to choose, either active sync, nass storage device or internet sharing, when u hook up to you pc... i didnt like the other as all that did was notify you that you were tetherd a give u the option to "hide window" this one... i needed this one to get my internet sharing hack to work, give it a try if you like

what i was wanting to do is fix my problem and i have by hard reseting the rom has it build in and did not know it and when trying to add the usbtopcpopup it messed it all up. wel im going to stay on 1.5 now that i know not to install that because it's build in. other then that the 1.5 rom runs just like he 1.4 no difference to me. batt is just as good if not better, because it has been 15 or 16 hours sense i flashed and i have been playing with it the hole time other then when i was sleeping of course. and the batt is down to 60%. if thats bad i dont know what to say. some people may not like the opera bata 2 because u cant zoom in and out from the d-pad like u can with opera that coms with the tp. but as i like to use my phone all time and on the net i want speed inbetween web pages insted all the feturse that the normal opera has. bu that just me. there is only 1 bug wich i have stated and thats it.

If I click a link in a txt or something it opens Opera, other than that I have to go to programs to find opera and open it. That leads to my next question, is there any way to set my favorite programs only like I had with win 6.1, cause I hate scrolling through everything to find programs.

as far as the programs list, you cant try installinging a new theme, which will probably give u the defaulted progam launche w/ a fixed number so u can add your favorites, or search for the basic progra launcher cab to get rid of the all programs.. if i comes acrosss one ill post it up for you... but till then 'search' engine here will be your best friend!

wait I just rememberd... the opera build in 1.5, is the new Opera beta 2 build, and for some reason that error/slash glitch is a know issue for 1.5... I believe the developer will be fixing it in 1.6, but for now unless you can got into manilla and fix it for you, you may have to deal with it... or installing the older version of Opera will overwrite the new one and fix also...

Ill see if i can find another alternative, like the manilla fix cabbed up... but no promises

you can make sub folders ...what i did in windows/programs separated them the way i wanted and works fine.

Thats a good idea I'll try that, thanks. I will still re-flash and take battery out because I actually still have the ATR screen pop up when I reset my phone, its been working so I did not worry about it.

By far my favorite rom. The only gripes I have is the slow switch from landscape to portrait and vice versa and the all programs tab...same as the start menu. I asked him in his thread if he could make it removable from customize tabs in settings or if he can make it a favorites tab again. He is currently online at ppc geeks so there might be a chance 1.6 comes out today???

ok i forgot to say this about the roms. 1.5 and 1.6 roms the media player is all wired. i can listen to the song once the hole song but when i go back over the list of songs i have it starts playing them like demos. because when i am at work i keep my tp in my hardhat so i can listen to music. but now it plays all songs like demos and i have gone through every setting and cant find anything. is there a fix for this or am i the only one having this problem.

you will need to use winrar to open the rar file and than once you have it open follow the guide and as long as you are unlocked all you have to do is connect your device and make that partnership and than run the custom RUU or the romupdateutility.exe... it will be named one of the two nad mixed in with aout 10 files or so in the rar folder. hope this helps and feel free to ask if you have further questions.

if im not mistaken all of starroms roms have tf3d2 cooked in as well as the 6.5 interface. i use his roms but i don't like tf3d or tf3d2 it has gotten old. i use mostly the 6.5 interface. but im pertty sure all of them have it though.

nope i actually have the chrome with no touchflo and am loving it... very stable and havent had troubles this far.... everything is snappy and working as should include all tabs and skins for windows default..... i will report back more tomorrow when i have tested since i just now have got all set up.

just connect to activesync or mobile device center and than open the ruu folder and fouble click the romupdateutility.exe or customromupdateutilty is the name of it......

yeah, the Rom is smooth and slick but the battery life is bullsh*t for me, i tried the pull battery out and hard reset after flash trick i it still sucks, i'm flashing back to the ATR3 Rom unless anybody knows a smoother Rom with good Battery life..... get at me.

I just installed 1.7 yesterday and I like it alot more then 1.6a even though they are almost identical. Everything works on 1.7, even the themes, which I had a problem with on 1.6. I have not had to charge my since yesterday and I still have about 30 percent left which is the best yet for a 6.5 rom. Love the 4 line layout in the menus guys! This Rom is hott!!!!!! Thanks guys

Ok, just an update. I'm still running and this thing is great! I did have an issue with the alarm not playing the sound that I chose so I tried the G-Alarm that was cooked in and it told me there was a alarm bug but it would fix it with a soft reset and now the regular alarm works perfectly!!!!!! The media player is hott! The internet sharing is a little slower than usual but I only use it when I can't get service so no big deal. I will continue to run this rom for a while and I will update with anything else I find. Thanks again for this bomb a** ROM!!!!!!

Agreed with you there Star rom by far is my favorite rom , need to flash SSS and compare the 2 now !!! Since I been hearing nothing but good stuff on it.

thanks for the review on the touchflo version of this rom. i am on the titanium only rom and loving it! havent had any freezes or glitches what-so-ever thus far. i started with a fresh battery for the flash and set up all my apps as well as set up and tinkered with wisbar advance desktop for over 2 hours, as well as texts and calls inbetween and still have 50% battery life left with the screen on full blast brightness like i always have it set :) but so far so good and it is running WAD great as well as titanium also at the same time with no troubles so i can alternate between the two of them very easily.... i will be writing a comparison review on this later tonight between this rom and sss rom and the pros and cons to both....

well it is there...... to get the 6.5 lock as venum found you have to go to start/settings/lock/display and change it from classic to windows default.

yeah they try to make flashing as easy as possible. Alot of the roms are this easy to flash, but most are not this stable. Starrom is still running extremely well after 3 days of use, this is the first time this has happened for me on a 6.5 rom...wow. lol

you would have to remap your calculator to the one that you have or are you meaning that the calc wont even open fro mthe start menu? and for the weather you highlight the weather tab and than click the lower right hand soft key on the device and you will get in the set-up area for your place..

battery tweaks no but i did go into HKCU/Control Panel/keybd initial delay change to 0 and the initial rate to a number of your choosing..... (lower faster usually but not always... depends on rom, i use 25)

I flashed the tf3d rom last night. It was very fast and smooth. even when I switched to the windows default. I did notice there was no program launcher tab, so I flashed to the newest Mighty Rom 5.

I know tf3d2 has bugs but I can't wait til there is a stable wm6.5 tf3d2 build.

do you mean your stuck with the wm 6.1 lock instead of the 6.5? if so there is a fix posted for that... all you have to do is go to start/settings/lock/dispay and change from classic to windows default.

the comm manager has a fix attached that works great!! and you got core player on this rom so your covered for your media..... i have a review/comparison of this and the sss rom i posted yesterday in the article and reviews section.

Dash is referring to a reg edit so you have to have a registry editor first and then when you open it there will be about six paths( I think) all of them starting with hk. The one he is referring to is hk current user, then you open that directory and follow the path he specified till you see the string he said and change the value. Be careful with reg edits because if you do something wrong you might need a hard reset. They aren't that difficult but you can mess up your phone if you do something wrong

this is just like any other registry change so dont see the troubles your having and why you think it is different. and all i ever do on any custom rom i have tried including this one is just install the newest sprint arcsoft mms cab and than im straight to go.

I don't think you deleted the original themes because they were left out when the rom was cooked. That was one of my original problems with the rom but I was able to find a theme in the theme section that I like thanks to Dash. I am currently running the Crimson Darkness theme which is pretty hot.

Wow, it can actually get better? I haven't even bothered to try and tweak this one since I haven't had any problems. Well today I found one problem but its not major. The Windows Media icon in my start menu doesn't work. Media player works when you click on a song or video though so I can just adjust. I am still stuck on how great this rom is though! It's crazy

Wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem. Im running titanium version and the opera tab works fine the first time after a soft reset. After it is closed it doesnt want to open again, the task bar will have a x like its running it but nothing else. After a soft reset it will work again. Im a noob so it could possibly just be me.

I assmue you installed more panels besides the opera one? If so try re-installing the opera cab. I had problems with some of the panel's disappearing after I installed a bunch at a time. i.e. AT favorites, facebook, and opera. usually a reinstall clears up running issues.

Me too! I got some weird stuff going on! When I 1st flashed I had a Silence X orange screen appear!?? When I connected to my pc it only had active sync as a choice but now Disk Drive is there!?? Clock will go 2 hours ahead at time too!?? Reflash??

did you take the battery out and hard reset after you flashed the initial time? and yes i would reflash if you did and see what that does for you.

mine works fine (opera that is) the only issue i have is when i click a link from a text message it does what you are saying, says opera in the uppper left and the x is there but opera doesnt load up right. searching for a fix for it

ok after messin with it a bit more i found that if you are in opera and you press the menu button ( bottom right ) then press exit, don't press the x button in the top right cause then the widgets thing comes up and thats what screws with it. I dont know why this is, very annoying, maybe we'll get a different version of opera in next release...hope this helps ya

Yes annoying and hard for me to break a habit as far as the way I exit programs, also to do it for just opera is weird. I like this rom and everything it offers but I goota use the net haha. Ive flashed to silence rom x 6.5 which is not far off from the star rom the only thing is touch flo as I liked the fast it wasnt on the star rom. Bottom line is everything works the way that Im used to working them and Im liking it. I will be watching for an update for this rom and Ill try it again.

well after a day of testing i am impressed ..the gps is running very smooth with this rom only problems i have noticed is with the alltels arcsoft cab seems not to be downloading the picture it recieves them but doesnt download the actual image. also the slider in the slide to answer is not showing up, although this could possibly be fixed in a hard rest wich i didnt do after i flashed. NOTHER THING the quick gps icons arent working but its really not a big deal because my gps is still running smooth over all pretty good rom def worth a try

ok here it goes...

we've been discussing this rom over at www.wckediden.com and we have a few things to post, i dont know if any of them have been posted already and we've found fixes for a few of them, just wanted to put them out there for starmans to know they exist. If you want me to post the fix we found i can do that later...

1. HTC Calculator link on the start menu doesnt work ( found a fix )
2. Windows Media Player link on start menu doesnt work ( found a fix )
3. If Opera 9.5 Beta is closed using the x button in the upper right instead of using Menu > exit > ok the widgets menu comes up and you cant reopen Opera without either a soft reset or using a dask manager to end the opera9.exe process.
4. The default lock option is not 6.5 default; it is the old device lock from 6.1 ( found the fix.. this may have been outlined somewhere and I overlooked it )

That being said, I am sticking with this rom because i really think it is the best out there right now for stability, battery life and speed. It really works great and I applaud starmans for his great work.

1. htcCalculator was already installed, the issue was only that the link on the start menu was not connected to the actual program. So you just go to Device/Windows and scroll until you see htcCalculator in there. After that hold down on it and copy. Navigate to Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and delete the HTC Calculator shortcut that is already there. Then just paste shortcut and if you want you can rename the shortcut to HTC Calculator instead of htcCalculator.

2. The same procedure as 1 except the file you are looking for in Device/Windows is wmplayer and you can delete Windows Media shortcut from Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and then paste this one and rename it to Windows Media.

3. The only fix for this is using the Menu > Exit > ok instead of the x there isnt a fix that i have found other than that.

4. If you go to Start > Settings > Lock > Display Tab > change to windows default instead of windows classic and it will be the 6.5 lock press ok and you'll be all set.

Hope this helps anyone with issues.

I took pics a little video finally sent some pics * and used the phone normally during the day, so awesome battery life. I ended up using ie for my default browser, I signed into my windows live account and it created a new tab that I can launch the internet from it.

*I couldnt take a pic and send it, it would say it was to large and ask it youd like to resize it hit yes. I got tired of waiting, I would have to go to where its stored and then send and there was no trouble.

i have put this rom through major hell and back for the results and this is what it spat out.... the battery life on this device is amazing. i can easily send and receive 500 plus texts a day and use the internet for weather, light browsing, games for downtime, downloads of files, talking, email, etc.... mad props on the battery life :) for the functionality of the rom i am still amazed at how smooth everything is on this rom. the titanium is snappy and bug free, everythign worked as it should, and the list could just go on and on. star is on to something here and i feel that with a few more versions many people will be flocking from all the other roms including the mighty which hasnt been to good lately but he will be back i know it :) this rom is awesome and wouldnt run anything but this right now since i havent heard of another that are blowing people away.... (until the release of fourthcoming)

When i'm using touchpal for texting and i get into a long message. During message, my screen will freeze for 5 seconds or so before finishing the message. It never fails that i get the freeze. Then i tried another wm6.5 rom to see if there was something with this rom but no good, it seems to happen whenever i use a 6.5 rom but not 6.1 cause ATR was cool with touchpal. I wanted to know if anybody else had this problem and if they found a fix for it. Thanks. I appreciate all help. and i do greatly agree, the battery life is insane. I don't have to worry about keeping a charger with me right now cause my phone lasted the whole day even after the flash and restore with PIM and with checking the basketball game every 2 minutes tonight. Good work!!!

its done that to me a few times but i agree with dash, the battery life is amazing, i have flashed to a few roms lately and this is by far the best along with the telus radio it is a great combination..aand i am running the mobile shell 3 as my userface along with playing several games, texting, etc...truelly amazing............

I do love that the rom is smooth but has anybody found a fix for the random screen lock ups? Lol it's killing me when I'm texting at work with the virtual keyboard. and does anybody have a problem with the text messages application not letting you close a conversation and open another one until the current message has been sent? (let me know if that didn't make sense lol) Those are the only two things that i have a problem with. Other than that, i'm gold. thanks for any help.

I second the random freeze ups!! I like the rom but doesnt seem like Rom creator is interactive w/ support for this rom!? Like most rom creators would have made a new build w/ the comm. fix, calc fix, etc... I do appreciate the work dont get me wrong, I'm just sayin!!!

I do love that the rom is smooth but has anybody found a fix for the random screen lock ups? Lol it's killing me when I'm texting at work with the virtual keyboard. and does anybody have a problem with the text messages application not letting you close a conversation and open another one until the current message has been sent? (let me know if that didn't make sense lol) Those are the only two things that i have a problem with. Other than that, i'm gold. thanks for any help.

star is pretty active on fixing the fixes when he sees people comment on them... he only replies when he needs to.... but for the keyboard there is a fix for that freeze... all you have to do is not use fngerkeyboard.

Ok review time.....
When I first installed this ROM I was very impressed. The speed and smoothness are definitely above average. Everything came up as soon as I tried to open it, with the exception of a few programs that I had to manipulate to open(such as Windows Media Player). For the first day, I tested the battery with little to know usage, and to my pleasant surprise, the battery was still at a whopping 65% after being off the charger for 15 hours. I was, needless to say, very impressed. There, however, is where my impressed opinions of this ROM came to an end. The next day I decided to see how long the battery would last with heavy usage. After approx 3 hours of internet surfing, texting, and listening to music, I checked the battery status. I was very dissapointed to see that it was at a dismal 20%. I then came to the conclusion that the ROM is fast, but at the expense of a very quick battery consumption rate. The ROM was adept at preserving battery power with little phone use, but what good is that really? When you have a phone as powerful as the Touch pro, you want to use it. Not use it as a paperweight.
After my dissapointment with the battery power, the ROM was pretty much as expected in regads to performance and battery life, based on my experiments the first two days. After around three days however, my phone started having random freeze ups, programs would not load properly(if at all) and the phone began to take an excesive amount of time to boot up. I first thought this was because of all the installing and uninstalling I was doing(for the review videos I was posting in the themes section) so I gave the ROM the benifite if the doubt, did a Hard Reset and repeated the flashing process.

Yeah, real talk, I have to agree with you! I feel like the StarRom has pretty much shut the game down for the moment! I have flashed several different Roms over the course of a few weeks. While all of them had their own very positive qualities which made them stand out, the negatives usually outweighed them and this has caused me to run right back to the StarRom! In some instances an hour later, lol. StarRom has a few minor issues that can be worked around but all in all, this is the best WM 6.5 Rom I have used! I am also waiting for the ATR Platinum Edition to be released and from the review videos and them revamping it with a new stable release....I know it will stack up pretty well with this Rom. Can't believe how great this Rom is guys, thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are different interfaces, if u download the tfl3d rom u get both, if u download the titanium one u just get that..im running the tfl3d.....

put what on the phone? the rom? if so no you will have to take a look at ym signature below and follow the flashing guide and you need to unlock your device also.... you can find a video tutorial made on flashing the diamondand touch pro in the tutorials area as well.

Did you always have these issues or is it something recent?.. if you always have, id ask you if you pulled your battery and did a hard reset after flashing, doing up clears up a lot of weird randomness...
If it happened recently and wasnt always this way Id say it something you installed or some registry tweaks gone wrong or any number of things, in which case it may be time for you to back everything up and hard reset, to clear out all the weirdness...

yeah i would have to say the same since i have been running starrom 2 since release and havent experienced any of those troubles.... on the titanium version myself.

"If Opera 9.5 Beta is closed using the x button in the upper right instead of using Menu > exit > ok the widgets menu comes up and you cant reopen Opera without either a soft reset or using a dask manager to end the opera9.exe process.

Solution:
The only fix for this is using the Menu > Exit > ok instead of the x there isnt a fix that i have found other than that."

This sucks for me as well cause for me its force of habit to hint the x button but a soft reset will fix it.


Ive tried both roms and I end up using titanium on both, Ive had a progressive problem with both from battery life to freeze ups. I think I put of a static charge or something cause vista crashes once a day at least haha. My boy is hooking me up with the D/\SH dust and everything will run like magic woo hoo.
Im going to flash titanium verson again and hope for the best.

I have 100% battery in the task bar but under settings it shows only one red box like its about dead. I let it fully charge before I falshed again so I guess Ill see what it does by tomorrow.

you have to go to stasrt/settings/personal/input and turn off predictive text under second tab on bottom and than you can also go to regular compact qwerty keyboard instead of fng keyboard and make sure not on t-9

I got you covered bro, this happened to me on ATR. Try sliding your phone open in a message and on the hard keyboard hit the green function(FN) button and then push the space button and a little popup should appear and choose the ABC option and the "suggested words" shouldn't pop up anymore...let me know if that works

Decided to give this ROM a try, but I have a few questions:
1) I downloaded the TF3D version b/c it said that it contained both TF3D and Titanium. Don't know if I'm going to use TF3D much so if I disable it, does that mean the Titanium remains? (not sure I even know what Titanium is).
2) Does this ROM have the .netframe work loaded in? (didnt see it).
3) When I opened COM Manager, my WIFI is greyed out (I did install the Topaz comm_manager cab?

The calculator works fine on the tf3d version but not on the titanium. I found that using titanium it is easier to just use the music tab and not worry about going to the start menu. Its cool that when its playing music you can swipe left or right to cycle through songs.
The whole copy and paste fix didnt work for me so I instead deleted it from start up and just installed the calculator cab and all is well. Not saying it is wrong probably user error but this worked for me.

Thanks, but I think I spoke too fast in my last post. One minute the Comm manager was working fine, both wifi and data connection tabs worked, not only the wifi works and the data connection is greyed out.

well after the installation of the cab did you soft reset....... something like that would need a soft reset for it to take effect. you could also ty a reflash in case it was a bad flash.

naw you can hard reset at anytime.... ido after i place the battery back in.... press and hold the power button, volume down, and the center key while soft resetting to get into bootloader.

So you can innterup the setup process after the flash and just remove the battery? BTW there's a pagepool.exe file in the ROM. I assume that runs automatically with the flash and does not have to be run separtely?

U only use that if you want to change the pp setting, but usualy what the rom developer sets it as is good enough... i suggest leaving it alone till u have more experience

pagepool i would wait until you get a little more experience before messing with that.... and for the other after the flash is complete i take the battery out for aminute place it back in and without booting up do a hard reset by pressing and holding the power and volume down buttons while soft resetting with the stylus.

OK gonna try it again tonite. Couldn't this weekend, was at the DMB show at SPAC.
Hey, I like TF3D, but really intent on using a mobile type shell. So if I'm gonna do that, would it pay for me to just install the Titanium version and not the TF3D to save space or resources?

if you arent going to use touchflo 3d than go without it since it will save you a lot of hassle and space on your device.
