People Tab Display

I am currently using a TF3D2 Rom and I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the people tab to display in a grid pattern. It is just sorta hard to scroll through my favorite contacts while driving. I am not sure it is even possible, just thought I would ask.
I tried to search for this and was unable to find an answer, so I was hoping someone could work there magic for me, lol.

if you download icontacts, there is a tab that once you click on it, it gives you a grid with the alphbet, then you just hit the letter of the name and it will take you to the first contact on that letter. hope this helps.

Yea I use to use that on my mogul. I just wish there was a way to change the touch flo tab instead, but ya can't always get everything, lol. Thanks

yeah there is no way to change the people tab in tf3d or tf3d2

Well... that sucks, maybe one day someone will come up with something.

there is a way to add tabs, and even make a tab for an specific application, but you have to have mad skills, or the tf3d designer has to make it in his theme. you can however delete or re-arrenge the tabs under settings.

yeah but he wants the peoples tab to show all his favorites like swcked mobileshell does, instead of having to scroll through each one individually...

to mdiokwe: try swcked mobile shell...you can run it with tf3d and it actually plays pretty nicely with it...mobile shell has the favorite contacts in a grid and is exactly what you are looking for...we have it here just search swcked* mobileshell

Hmm, I had that on my mogul also, it was a pretty nice app. I did not know it would integrate with TF3D. I will check it out when I get home, Thanks

yeah it actually works really well...if you uncheck show now screen on wake up in swcked options then you will show tf3d all the time unless you drag your finger from the top bar and then you will get a vista-ish pop up where you can pick what swcked tab you want to go to...so yeah give it a shot and see how it works for you
