Known Bugs:
1) Manila is buggy as hell, there will be multiple graphics glitches
2) shortcuts to call a contact through manila won't work as we don't have a new phonecanvas ported yet
3) htc phonecanvas doesn't work well with window 6.5 yet
4) time is off by an hour... just adjust it manually

F.A.Q.

Q. Why does this have a higher RAM utilization than XYZ Rom?
A. This ROM is modelled after a stock Rhodium device and has the same utilization. HTC uses a new method to ear-mark RAM used by common processes (camera/album/etc.).

Q. How can I free up some RAM?
A. Change your Pagepool. Also within Manila > Internet Tab > Menu > Data Settings > Turn Push Internet "Off"

Q. My ringtone has gotten corrupted and my phone is silent. WTF?
A. This is a known issue. It has to do with patching 6.5 to work with our 6.1 tools. Bear with me as I aim to resolve this eventually.

Well guys ive flashed to it, and i gotta say im impressed. very smooth. Programs takes some getting used to, but i havent found a flaw yet. operas blazin. wish it was a little bit more customizable, but im sure that will come. If somebody figures out how to " add a new push page", let me know. big thanks to the authors.

I'm pretty sure the glitches aren't fixed, but this probably has the most up to date tf3d2...i.e. the most recent beta release....xbmod is still workin on fixing the rest of the glitches

I am proud to report that virtually ALL bugs are fixed......except the push internet tab one. However that is minor. I tested all of the bugs reported in the other tflo3d2 thread, youtube app, opera, etc. Rom has all new skinned icons and is very clean. I am going to stick with this one for awhile unless the battery life is bad or for some reason my calls don't all come through (which has happened to me with a couple roms). Flash'em up boys.

Oh and you won't need icontact anymore. The contact tab is very finger friendly and doesn't go through half of your contact list with one stroke.

Ok....first couple of bugs. Once I used my sashimi and hooked everything up......
1. Calendar tab wouldn't function (restarted tflo)
2. Email tab won't actually open the email accounts
3. The damn time zone/ clock on the home tab became messed up

:( back to mighty 4.15 until bugs are fixed. IDK maybe it was something that I installed.

I think its workin perfect. I got two issues.

One is th wallpapers option. The screen turns red when you try and change.
Not a big deal for me, cause i use the background changer and undo the background. Works like a charm.

One thing i cant figure out is the ringtone problem. I seen the reg editing option, but i am not doing it right or somethin, cause its not even ringing know. Ive searched the thread over there and asked the question at least five times. Im gettin no response. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeppers.. Ive been rockin Juicy 6 for the past couple days now... and its a pretty nice rom overall... still some minor bugs from tf3d2 beta, but getting fixes for those are relativly easy... battery life is ok... i still have tweaked it yet, cuz ibut w/ basic use itll get yah throught he day... w/ hevey internet or phone use... itll drain at an average rate... im assumin once tweak out w/ my reg edit of choice, itll be much more substantial overall a pretty stable rom... easy to use, pleasant experience...

tf3d2 is designed like that by default... some chef cook in a fix, some dont... I posted a cab to fix it on taylors tweaks cabs and hacks thread... go pick it up there! I tested it on juicy rom so itll work fine!

Just to let u know alot of chefs like myself leave word completion and xt9 out of the roms b/c we dont need it being we have a hard keyboard, it just makes no use and also it gets in th way of the hard kb, we simply hate it.

I've been using this ROM for a couple days without any hiccups. I have to say for me atleast this is the most stable ROM for TF3d2. I have zero issues so far with it including the time going back an hour. I really appreciate the work on the ATR 3.0 ROM everyone here has worked on but this one seems a bit more polished, for now at least.

I tried to find a quick fix but was unable to get around my appointments moving around and my sync messing with the time of the phone.

yes yes... we are all aware or your clock problems... this is the third or 4th post youve made about it... please try to refrain from starting multiple threads and post, complaining of the same issue... its tiresome, seeing it again and again... If you go back and check on your previous post and threads, youll see staff and myself included who addressed said issue, (I even gave an explanation of what the problem is), even if the thread are closed, there is still useful info there... thank you..

Nah I understand... we just dont want to offend anybody.. as for your question yes you can... but when it comes to roms a lot of chefs can bee particular about where their work is shared, and what done w/ it, in which case it may be wiser to ask for their permission through pm's or just postin the info and links to original thread w/o actually posting the download info so that people will be referd there instead... really its just a judgement call...

If you read through the thread at geeks you will be able to resolve most of those issues....i know its hard because its like 350 pages and growing exponentially....but I posted a cab there to get the old start menu. It is called start menu fix. And there is a lot of talk about reg edits to get the program tab....I haven't messed with it cuz i just use the start menu for that. If you don't touch the clock you won't have to worry. However there is another setting that I read about. If you go into settings/phone/services/time synchoronization/ and uncheck "time synch with mobile network automatically" you will have no problems....except maybe when you connect with activesync. But that issue should be resolved shortly as its the main issue with rhodium and xboxmods are working there a**es off porting. This is the best build out right now for TF3D-2 hands down

Best fix for clock problem is the disable world clock. It does just as it says, disables the world clock and replaces it with a call history log. Best workaround yet! If you search ppcgeeks they have it posted there somewhere.

hey guys, i'm not trying to dog this rom. I have a lot of appreciation for all the hard work people like juicy do to get out some great products but this in my opinion is definitely a step back in progress. Bluetooth is a pain in the butt as it doesn't turn off from the comm manager tab anymore. you actually have to go to the device page, settings to turn it off manually. I know there are fixes for a lot of the bugs but why does the new threaded text work in an older version but not a newer one? I don't want to get off topic...I just want to list issues with the rom so people know what they are dealing with before flashing. push email still takes time to load so not sure if it is working properly. the my contact feature seems to work properly now as it synced up with my facebook and found all my similar friends without having to open facebook in opera...pretty cool. if anyone has any questions about this rom, please ask as i will be using this rom until i get back home from my trip.

Every TF3D-2 rom still has a few bugs, however you should be able to find a TF3D rom that is perfect. If you don't want to deal with the few bugs of the new Rhodium...check the roms out again after it has been fully ported and debugged by Xboxmod because they will be all up to date.

I am really enjoying this rom. I don't use bluetooth so that doesn't give me a problem....and yeah the text tab can be a little slow/buggy but the speed and battery life definately makes up for it.

So I have installed about 6 other tf3d 2 roms and I gotta say that they all have something I don't like ranging from rough looking themes to more bugs...etc. So here are the fixes to the 2 main problems with this rom. I am going back to it because for the most part, it is very stable and very fast.

Bluethooth fix

I'm not sure bro because I have sprint. But I would suggest Juicy 7. It just came out. There are temporary fixes for the clock problem that have been discussed in various places.

the only thing that i would miss is wm 6.5 if i were to go back to this rom....... 6.5 has me by the ballz liek it does mike..... great interface and i cant see myself moving away from :) use it mixed with mobile shell 3.0 and couldnt ask for more :) the ease of use is amazing :) but anyways thanks for the reviews and any bugs or anything that you have ran into yet jew?

No bugs so far... I was on StaROM. and here is the fixes.. Time is fixed from 19/4/09 showing up now 4/19.09 (normal). reply to message on touchfl3d-2 is fixed... tflo3d-2 hasn't resetted once. Keyboard is fixed. Diamond Dialer instead if the WM6.5 gay stock dialer...opera is latest full version with flash (no beta) lastest sys build instead of 21500 its 21501.

Also when typing new email or sms, it only shows 1 predictive text as appose to 2 like merlins rom and others as it throws you off.

Also.. when you press internet icon on touch tflo3d-2 it launches opera instead of a dead link....

There are some very nice features that Juicy cooked into this. This is the first rom that has the large rhodium notifications that allow you to see the whole notifacation and they work! Also when you tap on the top icons it actually opens a large touch friendly functional menu to take you to batt or comm manager

yuppers im digging it so far... the only problem i have noticed as of yet is that sometimes it wont allow the messaging shortcut anywhere on the phone to work and a soft reset fixes that.... happened twice so far but nothing too bad and pretty happy with it so far.

This update.... very very smooth. Very very stylish. I have had time zone and clock problems in the past with Juicy but for whatever reason they are fewer with this build. I put Galarm on there to be safe and so far its holding steady. Altell carriers should be putting this on there pro's pronto.

there are a lot of "fixes" for the 1 hour change (search them) but its the appointment change that kills me. So i'm going back to mighty.

the clock problem has nothing to do with the rom...it has to do with the tf3d2 port so any rom with that is gonna have that problem...but if you still want it on mighty's rom you can get it here

Update. Flashed this puppy and have all my apps installed. Just as stable as the last release, but with all the fixes.. So far so good. Will report if I encounter anything major. Keep it up Juicy!

on the last build my rt soft key was comm mgr and was a link to clock settings and i couldnt change it for shmack! hopefully thats fixed for this build

correct.. but if it bothers you, we have apps that can change any of the bottom soft keys to load whatever you want... you can always try that.

this update has a few bugs. (broken apps in settings and wifi switch does not work) there are workarounds for them if you stick with it, it is by far the most buggy (in my opinion)

BUT it is the best version of a fully running Juicy i have ever had. everything is there that i want and i can add almost all the extras i want.

So I flashed it again just to make sure and it still did the same thing it did not want to launch opera from both the touch flo screen or from the 6.5 side can anyone help with this quirk?I have test drove it and it is pretty stable.

didnt have the problem when i ran his last build.... after you flashed you took the battery out for one minute and than hard reset correct?

I have the same issue. The thread at geeks, is saying the same thing... they are working on a fix, and I will update the thread and Ill keep an eye out for the fix..

:PDT_Armataz_45:Ok here is an update. I went to ppcgeeks and it says you have to reinstall Opera from windows directory. I did that and it works now the other problem I have is when I use TF3D and I slide to weather it doesnt show weather and this is from the latest build. If any one can help please. Oh by the way they have over 200 threads just on juicy rom link.

I have an issue, I just installed this ROM and everything is great. I'm loving it. But when I try and launch the internet (Opera), the system just hangs at an HTC Loading screen and then it goes back to the TF3D Internet Tab. Is there a known fix for this issue? OK My fault for slipping on that one. I looked around and did the fix for Opera with the re-install, but now I'm aving another issue with Opera. It's crashing after a few minutes of use. I thought at first it was a site I was trying to get to since the site has flash videos on it, but then it crashed on other pages I know should be fine. It doesnt seem to matter what site, the app just crashes. Anyone have that issue. I searched around for it but wasn't able to find anyone who was having that issue. Should I do another re-install of Opera? Thanks again in advance.

here is what i would do.. I would disable tflo3d and windows default from the today screen. I would then reinstall opera with out removing it from add or remove under setting. just install the latest opera cab file that cound be found herer on Wckediden. After you install it. Soft reset... then enable touchflo3d and it should work. THis is what i did and it works fine,... been using opera all day,. If that doesnt work... Hard reset and follow the steps i just told u... goodluck

I have another question, and I can't seem to find an answer for this one. Are there any Registry tweaks for this ROM, or would using tweaks and a regedit app used on a Stock Sprint Touch Pro work? Is there a list of registry edit list for WM6.5? Thanks again in advance!

um there asre some tweaks bult in for sure.... no need to install diamond tweaks app on this ROM as i dont think it will work.... not sure if there are tweks for 6.5 yet, but this thing is pretty damn stable. another good app to use is, advance configuration tool.. (always some goodies there)

I download XWeather and BBExtreme current theme for rhodium and instaled it and I took the weather tab off. The only other issue I am having is that when you reset and it gets going the message program would pop up when I would use a program and would have to close it out in bot TF3D and 6.5 I read a post on ppc geeks and they said it was a 6.5 glitch. I tried using both TF3D config and tweaks but those programs dont work even if you delete the file your suppose to delete I only use advanced config. I also dont think you need to use any reg tweak because when I went to do that it was already done. All in all I think this is a pretty good rom I like the extra features that came with it. Now if I can learn how to use SASHIMI after every flash I will be set it is time consuming trying to reinstall all your cabs so can any one point out the direction to that it would be very helpfull.

for sashimi just search youtube and there are 3 tutorials made by the creator on how to use the application. :)

When I receive a call, it comes in with a black phone interface, which I like. When I place an outgoing call, it shows the phone in the standard white interface. Is there any way to keep the black phone interface for the default interface for the phone?

Everytime I reply to a text, and go back to the text inbox with all the threads I have, the system seriously lags. Most of the time I just ahve to wait, and 20-30 secs later, the screen loads and the device is responsive, and the rest of the time I have to soft reset. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

I havent flashed the latest build, but on the one before this one, I didnt have your issue.... did you take the batt out and hard reset after the flash?
