[ ISSUE SOLVED ] recording and playing

hey can someone help me with this. i recorded some video with my mogul and i copied it to my computer. but it won't let me play it. i tried opening it wth quicktime and realplayer and it still said "error" "can not start playback." so my question is do i have to convert the footage to another video file cuz right now it says mpeg-4. if so what can i use. thx in advance

You either need a mp4 player for your PC or a codec for it to play. You can also use VLC media player, its freeware and plays all files.

are you running xp or vista? if you are running vista i hasve a codec package with every single file extention type and it works great... if you are vista just send me a reply in this thread and i will get that attached for you.

i run xp, will i be able to burn it into a disc with the converter. i want to convert into a dvd. i probably just need a converter right?
