Im trying to make custom ringtones for when i get text messages. i see that it wont let me use full songs? is there a mod that i can do that will let me be able to use full songs as text message alerts? if not how long can they be to be able to be registered as a notification. i made one a minute long and it didnt come up as a choice. thanks

to be able to choose it for texts you should drop the file in the windows folder

be warn: if you choose a full song you are going to have to listen to the whole song if you recieve a text

all you have to do is go to cellsea.com and than you can cut it down to being like 7-8 seconds or so using their noob proof ringtone tool (which works great) and than drop it in the root of your windows folder NOT inside anotehr folder.

also, i wouldnt put it in your windows folder. its too hard to find and takes too long to access (depending on what all programming and what rom youre running) even if it is in a subfolder. I would most definately save it under "my documents. it will still show up just the same.
