Verizon GPS Need Help

I have the Verizon XV6800 (their mogul). I am having a real problem getting the GPS to work on the device. I have updated the radio, turned location on, sat in an open field with Google Maps on, nothing seems to be working. Did I miss something. Does Verizon's Mogul not have GPS. I am beginning to wonder. Could you please help me to get it to work?

verizon doesnt allow agps with anything but there own services at this moment..... take a look around the boards and you will find a lot of artlicles keeping you updated on this....
