Keyboard lagging

Whenever i open my tp to use the keyboard theres a big lag, and when im texting i type everything out and the screen is way behind and i have to wait to catch up to me. This get annoying when i type a long text and i touch the screen by accident and it ends up typing in the middle of the text lol. I tried master resetting last night and the lag is still there, is anyone else having this issue or is there a fix for it?
