okay so i googled it and i stumbled upon this site and it says Yesterday we told you about the new update coming to T-Mobile G1 (http://www.cellphonesignal.com/new-cupcake-upadate-for-g1/). This update will include new features like mms, and video capable. Unfortunately, some features will not be including for the G1. Instead, they will be include in feature Android devices..oops.. That’s right! A new Android is coming and is called T-Mobile G2, doh. Many rumors (http://www.cellphonesignal.com/t-mobile-usa-to-carry-htc-hd-as-g2/) where on the net about how will be the new G2 for T-mobile and Google. but now this is clear…Yes ladies and gentlemen, a new T-Mobile Android device is coming to town and just simply will be called G2. The new device will feature: Android OS, 3G capable ( where available), Full touch Screen, Enterprise Capable, WiFi capable ( no word about UMA), 5 Megapixel camera with aoutofocus and flash, Address Book,Calculator,Calendar,EDGE and GPRS,Games,Instant Messaging,Megatones, HI-Fi tones and wallpapers,Memory card Slot ( up to 16GB),Mobile Backup,Music and Video Player,Phone Book,Photo Caller ID,Picture Messaging,Real web browsing,Speakerphone,Speed dial,Stereo Bluetooth connectivity ( finally),Sync with PC ( better than air sync),Task list,USB interface,Video capture and playback,Video Messaging,Voice Dialing, myFaves capable and T-Zones


There is something really interesting here also. There were rumors but finally we think is going to be true. The T-Mobile G2 will carry, besides the 5mp camera, a VGA camera.. What?.. we do we need a VGA camera when we have a 5mp camera. Well, this is coming guys. The VGA camera is for video calling. The rumors finally will become true. T-Mobile will launch video call service at the end of January 2009 and the T-Mobile G2 will be one of the first devices that will be capable for video call. Now, think about twice when you make a video call.
Our tipster told us also we are getting the picture of the device soon or very soon. So, I suggest, keep in touch and tell us what do you think about this 2 amazing news : T-Mobile G2 and Video calling, both this January.
Expect the T-Mobile G2 this January 26th 2009!!

yeah no problem.. but if you were talking bout the pictures that came out a while back taht said that was the new g2... that was photoshopped by some kid and it managed to spread around the internet and alot of people believed the pictures... (gotta say those are NICE pictures Link http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2008/10/21/hot-t-mobile-g2-pictures-g1-android-successor and http://www.livecrunch.com/2008/11/28/t-mobile-g2-pictures-leaked-and-they-are-fake/
but hopefully its true...

Yeah they did do a pretty good job making a fake one but your right the on the new G2. Played with a G1 I like it.
