Ok here it is the skin for the phones I don't own....lol

HTC touchflow 3D skin tested on the Diamond and PRO but should work on
any phone running the real TF3D VGA

FIRST DOWNLOAD THIS CONFIG TOOL FOR THE THEME FILE IF YOU DON"T HAVE IT ALREADY...

Included in the .zip

1. AlienX.theme file -install first
2. AlienX wallpaper - set as your wallpaper
3. AlienX .tsk file - load into your my documents folder and set as the active task on today settings
4. AlienX dial skin.cab - install as you would any .cab file [yes its uninstallable]
5. AlienX matching volume control slider -install as you would any cab [yes its uninstallable]
6. AlienX S2U2 gfx - If you use S2U2 just upload the contents of this folder to your S2U2 graphics
folder on your ppc and overwrite when prompted [for best results in your S2U2 settings deactivate
top and bottom curtains and select /clock folder as active]
7. AlienX ThrottleLock 4.0 skin - load contents to your throttlelock gfx folder and overwrite when prompted


Whew... I guess that's it... this project took over a month to complete as its a huge challenge to create and test a skin without having the phone... If you would like more Tf3D skin from me donate so I can get the phone and test myself... lol

KNOWN ISSUES

the dial skin on the touch pro has 2 buttons when "in a call" that I could not find to skin the same as the rest, If anyone locates those to buttons let me know and I will skin them to match.

Not sure I know what your talking about? Unlock code? if your talking on the throttlelock I believe you can set it to whatever pattern you wish.

yes that is true right through file explorer/program files/throttle lock/than throttle lock settings.

It's only a minor glitch, I will grin and bear it :) Using Touch Diamond (not cdma) with original rom.

set the theme that is included than go to settings on touchflo and than go to choose wallpape and choose the background image that you want to use.....

did you install the cab file and than run the program..... your doing something wrong....... wont open the browser unless you are clicking on the config files.

:shameonyou: This one is for the Diamond or PRO not the 6900 got get touchflow2D and look in the touchflow 2d section for the theme that will work on your phone. :o)

this will not work on your touch aka vogue.... this si for the touch pro or diamond since they are the only 2 with touchflo3d not 2d

i've tried downloading your theme like ten times. It will either come up as an error during the download or it will say the header is damaged when I try to open it after the download finishes. It also only seems to down load 2.8mb of the 4.7mb. any ideas?

it's not s2u2. it's throttle lock. i think that's what u want. where u have to put in certain combination to open it.

you only want one of them... throttle lock and s2u2 are both locking programs for your device..... sicne there are still pretty major bugs in the newest s2u2 versions i go with throttle lock and love it :>

Alright DASH, so from the .zip from the 1st post i shold skip #6 and go str8 to #7, correct? And also in order to do step #7 I MUST FIRST download the throttle lock program?? Or is it already included in THIS .ZIP? thanks

You either do 6 or 7, not both. Since your goin with throttle lock, skip 6 and do 7. And this zip provides you with the skin for throttle lock. not the actual program. that you have to download seperatly

check it out now that i downloaded the .rar file from ur link for the throttle lock.cab(i know what to do with the .cab file) BUT also in the .rar file is a themes folder, jpg, and an IE shortcut icon ? ? Do i need any of those 3 things or just the .CAB FILE. tHANKS

The theme file is just a couple optional themes for the trottle lock. But since your using probexs theme, you dont need it. Its your choice if you wanna run a different theme latter. Just use throttlelock config to change the theme after you put probex theme in the theme folder and your golden

New here, just got my first ppc and wandered on by this site, instructions were easy to understand and everything went without a hitch. Only thing I'm curious about is if there will be any future update to support the area where you pull out the keyboard.

No news I know of. As far as I know, Probex doesnt have a Pro yet, he actually made this whole theme without being able to see it on his own phone. Impressive. I'm just being patient and letting the design master do his thing. When he gets it done, it'll be up:)

There included in the S2U2 folder. Just copy the wallpaper to the S2U2 GFX folder and your good. Make sure its named wallpaper(cant remember if it comes like that) and you either delete the one in there first, or you overwrite it when you move probex's wallpaper:)

No you just need active syn and to use file explorer on your phone. Just copy the files for s2u2 you download and paste into the GFX file in active syn do the same for the Throttle lock then soft reset your phone.

You have to read bro. The gfx and theme folders are under my device/PROGRAMS/s2u2 or throttle lock. Not windows.

you have to have one of those programs installed in order to replace the icons and graphics for them...probably best to install it (config tool) on the phone instead of the memory card...

once you have one of the locking programs (either s2u2 or throttlelock) installed on the phone, the folders will be available in the program files folder on your phone...that's where you replace those graphics files...

ok, you just place the .theme file in that folder and then using the config tool - you just click path on the appearance tab and point the program to the folder you placed the .theme file into...then click the drop down menu under "path" and select the theme you want to use...then click apply and let it run -- takes about 5 min, sometimes less...

lets start with which program are you using...throttlelock/s2u2?

anyone see major battery issues while using any of these themes? i know it doesn't really make sense, but it seems like i was getting double the life with the stock theme. maybe it was my phone searching for a signal, but it seemed to be worse after i installed this theme. beautiful work by the way.

No, and it doesnt make sense. A theme is just a theme. It doesnt require any more battery power to run. It must be somethin else that you did, or that you are doing different now than you were then

Clicking Thanks Just didnt seem enough. This is seriously Amazing!! I was having problems getting that clock to show with another theme. this solved that problem and the problem of OPmon not showing on my home screen.

But when i went to slide out my qwerty (ouch). The 6 Icons to access txt messages, internet, ect, Dont show up. I saw this problem with a batman theme. Sliding out the qwerty didnt display the icons it was supposed to. The Alienware theme does display them, but i couldnt get the clock to show up right for some reason.

Any IDeas on getting the icons to show when sliding out the qwerty? Actually i was so excited about this theme i never read through the thread yet. So maybe my answer is in here

I have heard there are some issues with landscape mode. I still don't have the touch pro yet.... but thanks to D/\SH's hard work to find me one for testing themes I will have one soon and will be able to actually see my skin and fix any issues I can find then release a final completed version of this skin.

Thanks man, saved me some time. I got to page 7 when i saw what time it was. Its mine and my gfs 1yr anniversary and we are going away, so im supposed to be asleep for the long drive tomorrow, not sitting on here lol.. I didnt know this wasnt a final release. I found that if i access my txts first and then slide out the qwerty i can still use it to txt. So basically its just 6 icons missing which i can still get to in otherways. The Taskfile is your theme for your phone you will have the green bars an what ever else is changed. For throttle gfx you have to use file explorer and go into programs and copy the file downloaded into that folder. It will ask you to overwrite them say Yes !!! Softreset when you are down doing this too.

ok it said move a theme file in a folder i have the alien x download from the page in a seperate folder and should i unzip all the files befor i put them ownmy phone

the only things ive gotton to work is the valume and the dial skin those work and are green and skinned

Download the .zip
on your pc unzip it
on your phone create a folder somewere called theme files
move the .theme from the .zip [that you opened] dont do anything to the .theme file just move it over to your phone.
open the config tool on your phone
pick theme [navigate it to the theme folder you set up]
select AlienX
let it do its thing

should be running.

it might be because its for the diamond, but when i flip out the keyboard insted of getting 8 icons including web search, messaging, etc I instead see part of the home screen and a blur to the right.

Its because this theme is a .theme file install. there is no way to have a working lanscape mode with this type of install, thats why on my Stonechrome killer and TF7x themes I gave up .theme files and went to .cab, I am working on a variation of this theme for the new Tp2 software port that will be fully functional in TF lanscape as well. but still a few weeks away on it.

there are cabs floating around that will change your volume level color..... what coor are you looking for and ill post the cab up for you.

I really do apologize if this question seem noobish or has been answered already. I've seen the video for this theme on youtube i think it was called sprint touch pro custom alienware theme or something like that which seems different from the pictures posted here. The theme in the youtube video looks so much better and slicker than the pictures posted here for this theme..am i missing somthing? or do you not allow people to dowload that special custom alienware theme version for free?

this isnt alienxtreme and your all over the damn place you just dont listen to me do you? infraction issued and follow the rules of the site with no double posting and posting in the correct area.... this is for touchflo 3d not 3d2 so it will not work and since you just asked in the alienextreme threead about this use the dialer skin and the volume skin from this theme here on xdtreme and they will still work.... and watch wehre you post.... infraction is issued sicne i did warn you to watch where you post and told you not to double post the same question in multiple places..... be patient and wait for us to anwer, we are human and not machines

im having trouble being new in all i have installed everything i think but the touch flo icons are still regual as well as the clock the su2 thingy is sick toolbars and keys are green dial pads done as is volume but the icons the clock all the same .

did u uncheck the tflo from the today screen and follow the directions then soft reset?.....then put the tflo back on today screen?...

yea with sprint not sure bout stock thing but yes i downloaded the config on my phone as u instructed earlier in the tthread the diamond config but it reports an error everytime i open it.so i havent been able to run the theme install. just all the cabs. ok illl download clock cab.

are you running 6.5? you might wanna update your profile since you arent on 5.0 for sure.

3d2 has to have rhodium... the way to get rhodium is to install a rhodium aka 3d2 rom and go through the rom flashing process. and just go to your usercp and the option will be in there.

thats a tab and no there isnt a patch the icons would have to be made..... if you want i do offer a modding service.

Just curious, is this theme not compatible with Landscape mode on the Diamond? I can choose landscape in Settings/Screen and it changes, but if I go to home tab or any other tab it changes back to Portrait. Using it in WMP, messaging and stuff is np.

nah this is basic tf3d (older version) so in landscape mode itll go into the home icon screen...u need tf3d-2 and a tf3d-2 theme if u want landscaped themed as it is in portrait mode... and regarding wmp messaging and other apps... those are apps has nothing to do with tf3d, this theme or anything else... yes ur apps should work just fine in landscape mode...

hell yeah my boy probey does amazing work and even did a theme for naught by nature by request :) you can find mand information tracking probey throughout his quest with the what he was doing with naught by nature as well as microsoft.

hi you need s2u2 app for that use search and will pop up instal it if its cab for theme just install if its folder copy theme gfx to your gfx folder of the s2u2 and overwrite them oke
