View Full Version : Touch Pro Keypad Backlight Issue

:PDT_Armataz_43:Anyone know how to make the backlight on the keypad stay lit for more than 5 or 6 seconds once it is retracted? It isn't in the power setting configuration menu choices? I figured out I could simply hit any key which activates the backlight and then hit the delete key and type but that's pretty a painful solution.

the only way would be to switch the d-word or the hex in the registry string for the keyboards backlight.....

say what? uhh... forgive my noob-ness, but where in the registry can you do that and what would you change the values to?

you would move the d-word or hex up in numerics and that will make it stay on longer.... until i or someone else has a chance to get exact values i would hold off because if you make the wrong move or change the wrong thing you can brick your device...... and also you will need a registry editor to be able to do this.... i use resco registry editor and byteswired registry editors (flop between the two from flash of rom to flash of rom :>)
